Randall, for real????? Wow, I envy your heatwave!!! We have "cooled down" for a bit this weekend, got morning fog, etc.

We still are in the low 70's if that.

Don't envy the humidity.

Saturn's child,

Where are you located? That's a cute Smiley!!!

Randall,

When it's humid here (which is rare), I love it because it reminds me of Hawaii!!!!

Hi,Nepthys, I am located on the buckle of the Bible Belt, in northeastern Oklahoma.
Not the western "dust bowl" but what they call "Green Country". We have many lakes, rivers, creeks, etc. I live on the Illinois River...clear cold and beautiful!!!!

When it's humid here, it reminds me of Hades.

Saturn's Child ~

Wow, it sounds beautiful where you live!! I can almost imagine it. You know, it would be neat to start a thread and everyone have a picture of their town/county/city or their house, that would be neat.

Randall,

You mean some ancient Greek city or something? just curious.

Wow that's really pretty. I wish I could go there right now and wade in. If I have time I'll try and find a pic of my area but I've been working this week + busy with a lot of other stuff.

On the 4th, it was so humid, it felt like I was covered in sweat at night even with a cool breeze.

WOW! It's only humid here once in a blue moon. That would be horrible to have to always change your clothes from sweating and stuff.
Do you want to know something, where I live in the a.m.'s is nice and sunny. I did a temp job this week about 10-15 minutes away and when I get there it's really cold and foggy and windy. Calif. weather is so crazy - it changes constantly. Yesterday and today we have cooler weather and next week it's supposed to be in the 90's. (Yeah, right, we'll see?)

(Strange I didn't get a notification reply on this thread.)

That was an unusually humid day. Usually it's not nearly as bad.
