"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll

Randall,

That's pretty extreme! We had a huge wind/rain storm on Tues. with 50-70 mph winds. Now it is getting really cold again. 30 at night and 50 during the day.

Have you seen Al Gore's movie? It would help explain your warming trend.

I sent you a card but it got sent back to me!

we're covered with a pure white blanket of snowflakes...I've already made a snow angel..
and then I gave MOther Earth a big Hug. ...

shimmering sparkling snow... .

We have had yet another WIND storm yesterday and last night!

The temperature is cold and it is still a little windy, but the sun is shining and the sky is BLUE> a beautiful, ecstatic, mesmerizing robin's egg BLUE. You can almost taste how BLUE it is!

Juniperb ~ Did the whole NE get snow or just your area? I wonder if my relatives in Quebec area got snow?

Yesterday and today we get a special treat: high 60's. Yesterday we took Jasmine to the waterfall hike we had not gone to in years. It was nice.

Later this week our temps will drop significantly and we expect a light dusting of snow on the Oakland hills and Mt. Tamalpais.

Darned global warming and El Nino sure mix up the weather patterns from day to day!

Nephthys, I don`t know about Quebec. We have what they call an Alberta Clipper sitting on us. It`a an Artic blast that pass`s thru Alberta Canada and dumps snow, artic temps & howling winds. Very very wintery.

Wow, you all must really be in the deep freeze!!
