We are approaching Springtime and I have to say it is my favorite season.

Cherry Blossoms
Morning dew on fresh blooming flowers
Warm weather, gorgeous robin blue skies, birds happily singing their hearts out
Babies everywhere ~ wildlife is bursting forth with new babies
Daylight Savings time
The energy of Spring feels positive, nourishing, and motivational
T-shirts, sandals, and short pants
My birthday
Dragonflies and Butterflies
Honeybees
Beautiful sunsets
Warm evenings
Time to plant Veggie gardens

Here are Poppies and wildflowers at Big Rock in Terra Linda, my town

Hi Neph!

In south Texas my fav is late fall into early winter with early spring as a close second.

We really do not have "seasons" per se, but more of a climate change. If one looks close enough, though, you can find color change and beauty in the earth going to sleep in the fall and re-awakening in the spring!

Fall in south Texas....

Hippi ~

Our daffodils have bloomed. They always bloom extra early. The only thing that can't wait to shoot up from the ground

ArtLovesDawn ~ Mmmmmmmm exactly! I could almost see/taste your descriptions!

Yesterday and today we finally warmed up ~ we were at about 75 degrees today! You know, I think 75-ish is the perfect temperature! Not too hot, not too cold.

I just can't stand anything under 70. I have always been very sensitive to cold!

My favorite season has always been Autumn. I love the reds, browns, and golds of the leaves. I love walking, kicking and crunching my way through a pile of them. I love the cooler, crisp weather and I especially love that it's time for the squash family to be front and center! Yummy!!!

My favorite season is Spring!..The promise of a new gardening season and the planning of your garden..the freshness of the air..the sound and sight of the birds returning to their business..i love it when new leaves are just emeging and the tulip trees, forsythia, quince, shrubs and fruit trees are in spectacular bloom..the excitement of the people and all the energy they share..from children to lovers to the elderly! We all perk up a little. Springtime is..NEW LIFE!

I also love the spring. All the little green shoot reaching for the sun. I have lots of robins in my Ornamental Cherry tree today, will all the snow on the ground here,(we got 7 inches yesterday), the are enjoying the cherries that are still on the branches, and making way for the bud and bloosoms that are promised in the srping.

Oh, Hippi, your pictures are so beautiful! Thank you so much for posting them! I can almost catch a whiff........MMMMMmmmmmmm..

Here are some of my backyard I just took on Saturday. Our plum tree blossoming, on our brick wall on the side yard of our house. We have this view outside our dining room window. We put out a lot of birdseed and here is where I do my recordings for Project Feederwatch.

Oh, and I couldn't resist throwing in one of Jazz........

Another thing, the weather has *finally* begun to be gorgeous here! This weekend and today the weather was in the upper 70's and about 80-ish. Tonight I snuck out of class early, and the drive home was so B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L I could not get over it. The sun was already set, but the sky was tri-colored blue, light, medium, and medium-dark blue, with some orangey-dark pink lines along the horizon of the mountains......and some stars were beginning to pop out, along with VENUS shining so brightly, shouting, "HERE I AM!!!".......And the weather is so WARM tonight! It reminded me of when Jim went to get Pam in the middle of the night and said, "come out, it's a beautiful night!".

I'm gonna cheat...ALL OF THEM!

Spring for the riot of colour and sense of new life - its all sooooooo fresh and clean

Summer for warm, balmy evenings, running round barefoot and the smell of honeysuckle and lavender at sunset

Autumn because of the warmth of colour, the harvest moons, yummy food and the first frosts with tinkling stars

Winter for cold winds, frosts and darkness and my cosy duvet, hot chocolate and Christmas!

I have to agree that it is hard to pick a favorite. I like certain things about each season too. I am sure ready for spring. I saw the first robin two days before we got 10 inches of snow!! I wonder if he is having second thoughts. You guys have lovely gardens. I can't wait to get started. Last year we lost pretty much of our crops due to flooding, so I am especially eager this year.
