But Randall, the tide has turned -- the Solstice has passed, the days are getting longer.....

And what is it there now, a frigid 60 degrees??
Break out the down parkas!!

It is so freakin' humid here! Aargh! I guess it's good for the skin, though. Don't need moisturizer when you live in the deep South. *wipes sweat from forehead*

Is the humidity terrible year-round, or just during some seasons??
It gets VERY humid here in MN in the summer -- thunderstorms pass thru then the Sun comes back out again and everything steams.....
Before I moved here, I thought the MN climate was comparable to the Arctic
But that's only in Dec/Jan/Feb -- starting in May, the temps climb: we have approx 5 days over 100 and 15 days over 95 during a normal summer.....

Not humid in winter, although we have our fair share of warm days scattered throughout. Probably a total of two months with low humidity.

I don't normally think of humidity and warm weather when I think of MN.

I know.....
Icebergs used to be the first thing that came to my mind when "Minnesota" was mentioned -- but here's a spiffy little chart:

And here's the Snow Department

(Randall said: I miss Spring already.)

Randall, Somewhere in the Universe, it might be Springtime right now!

Maybe you can create your own Springtime inside your house; get some potted flowers and plants, and put some colorful garden animal decorations?

It's cold here! Brrrr! My feet are ice blocks, my calf muscles are very sore and weak, and the cold pinches my skin and goes right through to my bones!

We have had beautiful blue skies and beautiful sunshine for a few days now........now only if it will warm up a bit, they say it is supposed to be 70-ish today but I don't believe them. It is 40-ish right now.

Should we start a Springtime 2009 thread? I can't wait until Spring!

Most definitely Z!!!

We're having beatiful spring-like weather here. Chilly at night with highs in the low to mid 70's. I have heather and lavendar awaiting my butterfly relatives.

I just got a new digital camera for Christmas and have no clue how to post pictures. I took one of a butterfly I'd like to share. Z, would be be so kind as to instruct another computer illiterate how to do this? Thank ye kindly.
