Obe Knowflake Posts: 101 From: Washington state Registered: Feb 2006 posted March 18, 2008 07:47 PM          I've been doing a lot of forest exploration lately, and in several forests now I have noticed something odd which I at first thought was beautiful. I found out later that it is probably a fungus. It seems to strip the trees of their bark and cover them completely with a glossy red or orange layer...it is affecting many trees. has anyone in another area noticed this? if someone knows what this is about please inform me, I'm kind of worried IP: Logged
