Recently I have noticed a new bird flying around in the garden. It is the Brown-Hooded Kingfisher. I have never seen this bird before in my life, yet alone in the garden. So it is kind of exiciting seeing it on numerous occasions I am not sure yet of the sex of it, but I have a feeling it is a male ( mating season now) but then again I have only seen the one. Here is a picture of it, if you don't know what it looks like( not my photo): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Bruinkopvisvanger.jpg ( too lazy to actually post a pic on here LOL). Birds are hard to photograph

Very unusual-looking bird. Very cute, though!------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |
