I think, loosly translated into "little chilies?"They grow wild here, in South Texas...last eve I prepared a wonderful seafood and vegetable dinner and harvested several pequines from a plant that just sprung up in my yard... What a flavour!!! What amazing zest!!! Anybody else here ever used these little hot wonders in recipies? (my daughter warned me to not poison her bfriend as to feeding him things from our yard! ) O, but so, so good, so, flavorfull! mmmmm....... Sorry, I am a long-ago-Yankee, now a transplanted-Texan.
