"old wood" I love old wood.

brought to mind my excursion last weekend to the coast. I collected bags and bags of driftwood, all different shapes and sizes for my latest art project idea. Can't wait til they all fully dry - it's not happening fast enough!

What are you going to make with your driftwood, T??
I have a couple boxes of small pieces myself, out in the garage, from the days when my dad collected it to sand down (especially cedar, for anti-mothing in drawers), and my grandma made framed collages of it.....

i took care of a patient a few years ago..

he and his family and i struck a bond.

he was a judge of the HUGE county of val verde, in west texas...

he was born on samhain (10/31), he lived and died for his people, for his path.

i asked him, one day, how he could have sustained such adversity...such illness, so many challenges,,

he replied
"buena madera!!!"

good wood, in his language.

love ya, judge luna!!!
