I want to get another potted plant, a desert rose and a Japanese maple. Although, will wait until the move, because they'll grow better in warmer climates.

I'm not sure... my sister gave my mother a book on square-foot gardening, for her birthday last November, but neither of us have read it (yet). We'll be trying some vegetables, but last year my dad brought in some earth from another the yard of another house - a house my uncle had been working on somehow - and mum thinks that's how we got Japanese beetles all over the place, destroying almost everything that we tried to grow. the garden got away from us, what with other things going on (and I wasn't in the best state, I'm embarrassed to say), so nothing was successful - well, except for some cucumbers and a handful of tomatoes.

Zucchini is easy to grow, although last year the cucumbers were in the spot they had occupied the previous year, so maybe it's the way the sun hits the side of the garage... we're hoping the beetles won't be here again this year.

I am a cosmoholic ! I scatter every variety in every garden for that late summer cottage garden look.

The neat and orderly look blends into that cottage invite and the birds are in heaven.

Thank you I love the rambling rose over the tea roses. I like the untamed cottage type of look.

Luckly for me, thats the way they like to grow too.

I have some deeply fragrant pick rambling roses I have pics of & will post .

Wow, that Bougainvillea is stunning. My hibiscus don`t bloom until late August/early September here so I can`t wait.

The snow is finally melting away and daffys, tulips and all spring goodies are popping out... woo-hoo.

These ramblers were rescued from a centenial farmhouse and the root stock over a hunderd yrs old. The new improved hybrids have nothing on the old fragrant stand bys
