We'll plans have changed... and we'll be here another year - maybe more...

And, YES... I plan on gardening this year...

Was thinking of getting a crab apple tree with white blossms, a autumn blaze maple tree, elderberry black lace shrubs...

A japanese maple for the inside, and maybe another desert rose

What are you doing with your garden?

weeding lol. I always have my seedlings I start on Imbolc to go in at last frost. And of course the billions of seeds I scatter mid summer. I have been on an elephant ear binge the last couple of seasons so am thinking of some great ideas for using all the bulbs I have left over.
They are growing in pots all over the house so I must make a decision soon

My grandmother used to sprout seeds indoors, I remember her using toothpicks, a cup of water and large avacado seeds...

I think I've seen elephant ears before, but I'll have to look it up again...

As far as weeding goes - good luck. In Colorado we have weeds with HUGE roots...

I did a bit of weeding a while back during a "warm spell" and I hurt for a few days after...

I was using my entire body weight, and the entire strength of my hands to pull weeds out of the ground...

Then we have these spiney weeds with little fine needles on them... grr... those are the worst.

I love dandelions (blowing the seeds), but they are actually very stubborn weeds.

"All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman

Weeds are just misplaced wildflowers.

If there were no weeds, we wouldn`t have the glorious hybrids and half my income would go *poof* along with the blown dandelion umbrella`s
