This is horrible, it's a crisis! After watching Appollo 18 with those spiders that turned into moon rocks and vice-versa... Perhaps evil aliens are responsible for these bad insects, or whatever they are!? ------------------ All my love, with all my Heart lotusheartone IP: Logged |

What a strange world, right? man...I'd believe evil people were responsible, before evil aliens. lol :P Have not seen the movie but sounds interesting. I'll keep my eye out for it when it comes to cable. Hopefully something can be done. We cannot lose bumblebees. It would be catastrophic for so many creatures and the planet. IP: Logged |

We certainly can`t lose our honey bees I work amongst honey bees and bumblebees daily and they are such gentle busy souls. Which reminds me of my sisters (RIP) fav poem/song as a child : Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, The Fly has married the Bumble Bee, Says the fly, says he, "Will you marry me? And live with me, sweet Bumble Bee?" Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, Oh, I love you, and you love me! Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, The Fly has married the Bumble Bee, Says the Bee, says she, "I'll live under your wing, You'll never know I carry a sting." Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, Oh, I love you, and you love me! Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, The Fly has married the Bumble Bee, After Parson Beetle Had joined the pair, They went outside to get some air. Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, Oh, I love you, and you love me! Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, The Fly has married the Bumble Bee, And the bees did buzz, And the bluebells did ring, You've ne'er heard such a merry thing! Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, Oh, I love you, and you love me! Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, The Fly has married the Bumble Bee, And then to think, That of all of the flies, The Bumble Bee should get the prize! Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, Oh, I love you, and you love me!
----THE END----

Thanks T & Eme while it is a childrens song, I always thought this verse spoke of true adult/mature love because we all have a "sting" but love tempers the orneriest of souls: quote: Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, The Fly has married the Bumble Bee, Says the Bee, says she, "I'll live under your wing, You'll never know I carry a sting." Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee, Oh, I love you, and you love me!
As well, if the parasite fly could learn to live peacefully/harmlessly with the bee, ( under it`s wing ) how perfect it would be. ------------------ Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi~ IP: Logged |

the title of this thread made me giggle------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

Starting yesterday, bees are everywhere here! They work fast; flowers and trees are bloomed all over now.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." The bees think my shampoo scent makes me a flower. They fly around my head and soon realize that there's no pollen there.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
