Well, I just bought grow boxes, as my friend suggested cuz he said bugs would eat the garden if it were in the ground. I want to start with easy things and I guess I would like greens because I like to put them in juice. Any suggestions? Also, if you have grow boxes, I bet you can't plant roots like carrots and beets. Would this be right? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Youre asking the wrong person! Brown thumb over here.Hopefully not this year though. Have been researching and learning more recently. Some homegrown beets would be nice. I want a big cherry tomato bush as well. With some serious effort and a bit of knowledge, I bet I could have a nice little one this year. Will give it a good shot anyway. IP: Logged |

Yes, I have been cutting off a big leaf and peeling it and putting it in my juicer with oranges. it is not bad, for how good aloe is for you. I use it as a moisturizer on my face, every day, too. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Do you drink it from the actual plant? I am trying to find ways to make it palatable. Orange/carrot juice seems like the best. Someone figured that out, not me ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Just bought seeds. I am so excited. I am going to have a herb garden, too. I feel so much more whole since I started just my aloe garden. I save all the vegetable scraps, soak them and then water the garden, the next day with them. I think it is so satisfying, in part, because of my earth void. I am like a helium balloon ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I'm not sure about the peel. Either way, I bet you are benefiting from aloe's healing properites of which there are many. I've been saving up my coffee cans to start my herb garden. IP: Logged |
