I tried to take pics of my garden but I have to set up a special account on my new phone. I could do it with my old phone.

I will describe some plants to you.

I have a cayenne plant I bought at Wal mart. It was about 6 inches high.

Now it is about 5 feet and has the trunk of a tree which is so cool and my friend who helps me with the garden, said he never saw anything like this.

It is covered with cayenne peppers like about 70 of them.

I am waiting for them to turn red though.

They are totally hot when they are red and mild when they are green.

Some are almost 4 inches long.

It is a total beauty.

I have 4 okra plants next to each other. They started at about 8 inches. They are now my height or a little taller--5'6''

The okra is amazing. I eat it raw. Some okra got really big like 8 inches. It gets woody though and so it is better to get it when it is smaller.

This is becoming like a tree, too.

One of my faves is the habanero plant which started small too and now is like 3 feet tall but really wide like 4 feet wide.

When the peppers get big, they are super hot, like "roll on the floor and pray" hot.

I have all sorts of edible flowers as I think they are cool.
The idea you can eat them and garnish with them makes them very special to me.

Ami it is a hassle to post pictures from my phone cause of some troublemakers I can't post from PC it's spoilt

So yeah I wanted to post pics as you dictated them but maybe next time.

Yes eggplants are great with fish curry together with okra.
Another simple reciple is frying eggplants in oil till the outer becomes crispy and the inside soft

Another is grinding dried prawns with chilli and frying then with eggplants. I love them too

I never had any luck frying, Di. It always came out as a mush.

Any tips? Can you use coconut oil, as I try to use that?

I never heard of the edible flowers you talked about.

Ok your eggplants hv to be cut in very big pieces. Try to fry when the oil is very hot.

Pea flowers are weeds and very abundant osthmanthus. They're great smelling,
