I noticed an old thread on GMOs and thought wouldn't it be nice if we can spark up some lively discussion about the issues in Industrialized farming in order to spread the word.I am not affliated with this author in any way, just watching the documentary and reading Michael Pollan's books has changed everything for the way I view our food supply. GMOs are soooooo depressing. I mean, it truly, truly upsets me to think of what a rape of the earth it is  ------------------

I have studied quite a bit on how to avoid them. You know what will really make you angry. In other countries, our exported food is LABELLED as GMO but not to us.------------------

My sister lived in Italy for quite a few years, when she moved back home and enrolled her daughter in school she was shocked at all the food restrictions. No nuts etc. She said in Italy the food is very healthy and fresh. The obesity and allergy issues are not issues like they are here. I have heard 70% of the processed food we eat have GMOs. Watch the movie, it's enlightening and sickening at the same time. IP: Logged |
