Aside from herbal teas - how do you think rose would taste in a strawberry smoothie? I just saw that on someone's instagram.. not sure that I actually want to try it.

That would be wonderful.

Hibiscus is really good and tart as well.

Some like Lavendar.

Nasturtium is very peppery.

Oh, what's that Galium that tastes like Vanilla?

Heal-All is a very healthful one, as are Cleavers, Chia Seeds and Chickweed.

You're crossing over with Flowers and Herbs here, but there are many applications.

If the water here was more affordable, I would have an edible Herb Garden out in my Terraced Garden Space.

I also think that sounds like a delicious addition to a smoothie!

Or you could do that thing I've seen online (although it looks tedious and time consuming), and put petals in the ice cube tray when you fill it.
Then you have pretty ice cubes, and a touch of interesting flavor to your drink as the ice melts.

Really, I haven't tried it. It's just a little too frilly for my taste, although it looks very pretty.

Well, Violets.

I mean in the ice cube trays.

Some freeze Violets in their ice cube trays.

For drinks.

Although that does sound very pretty.

that sounds amazing, Randall. I may try making my raw chocolate mousse and put some edible flowers next to it. That would be amazing

Hey, that's actually something I probably wouldn't mind doing. I don't mind making fancy stuff if it involves chocolate!

I made this raw chocolate mousse that is amazing. I put the recipe in the Quirky Cuisine Forum but it is just avocado, cacao powder, maple syrup or agave, soy milk and vanilla. It is amazing!!! I am just so hooked on it and it satisfies all my chocolate cravings. Edible flowers would be amazing next to this, as a garnish!

Wow, that sounds delicious! I need to swing by QC, I'll look for that recipe. Sounds amazing! I wonder if you can substitute the soy milk with almond milk?
