Any ideas on getting rid of these little ******** from my indoor plants?

I've tried letting the plants dry out, vinegar/dish soap/water mix. Insecticides, and sticky strips that go in the plants.

I've had moderate success but it seems that just when I'm making progress they come right back. I'm just about at the point of throwing all of the plants out. I hate to because of sentimental value but I suppose I'd live.

Oh, I tried new dirt also.

That's one I hadn't seen anything about but sounds good!
Thank you!

@Randall
I could live with that. I just wouldn't want to step on it in the night.

Actually, my friend has a spider in her plant to eat the gnats. On her kitchen counter. It's fun watching the web grow into different shapes. Spider is well fed. They eat fruit flies really, don't know if that's the same as gnats.

Have you tried a small dish next to the plant with a bit of dish soap, topped with apple cider vinegar, then Yellow food coloring?

This is far out there but may work...
You could put a crystal in the plant. And set the intention for the gnat larve to clear. Its a good time to do this with the new moon.

Hope everything clears for you.

Found this online...
"Use beneficial nematodes for organic control of fungus gnats. These naturally-occurring microscopic worms kill fungus gnat larvae by entering their bodies and releasing a toxic bacterium. They are harmless to humans and animals. Follow label directions to mix the nematodes with water then spray or sprinkle the solution on the surface of the soil"

Also, cover the plants soil with a layer of playground sand to prevent gnats from burrowing and laying more eggs.

No more food, so the lizard found its way out.
