Reminds me of my time at the Buddhist publishing company, making prayer wheels and collating pages and laminating thankas. If we dropped a page on the ground, we had to touch it to our foreheads before continuing; if it was damaged it went in a burn barrel.

In fact... I came across this poem the other day while looking for Rilke:
Sugar Water In Winter, by Christie Towers
A bowl of rose water dreams itself empty

I need a new incense burner. My husband brought one that was a dead decomposing tree...I came to the conclusion that seeing this in my home is not positive so I got rid of it. Plus the tree reminded me of when husband stares at his phone on the couch too long. IP: Logged |
