T O P I C R E V I E WnocturnalblossomI've read how it can either be a hit or miss when it comes to dating someone born a few days apart due to the similarities/differences in their chart and yours. I have been reconnecting with someone from my past who's birthday is six days before mine (same year). Would it be best to look at a synastry chart or composite? LalafortunaeaYou could show us if you like. On the one hand, it's best not to let astrology decide for you if you want to get with someone. That's up to you. Knowing the possible effects you have on each other is good, however. On the other hand, not enough adequate differences can make you bored, or hinder growth and expansion. But again, this is subjective and not a once size fits all. Perhaps you're someone who prefers complete ease, and can do well with it. But we as a species need opposites and frictions to ignite worthwhile passion in us, for life ( or romantically), to change, to grow, to do. It really depends on a lot of factors. It'd be helpful to see the 2 charts.Post them both here. If there really isn't much different, then your composite might just have the same signs in some areas so we'd need to see what aspects changed. nocturnalblossom That is the synastry chart and below is the composite chart. This person and I had a romance before but now that we are reconnecting, what are some aspects we should put effort in, etc. Is marriage/children indicated? Just curious. nocturnalblossomSorry are the images showing up? I'm quite new to this and not exactly sure what the proper way for uploading images is on this website. I can tell you that there are times where I feel like certain things are magnified. Many conjunctions work out pretty well I think, but the slight differences in placement of planets like sun, moon, Venus, and Mercury in relation to outer planets are yucky. We both have sun opposite mars natally and it is the same in our composite. My Mercury also opposes his Mars. We argue every few days. Saturn glues us, but His Saturn is square my moon and Venus. It has been a painful 17 year marriage. After these many years, I am set off easily by any perceived slight to my moon in Taurus (home/security/comfort), beliefs, or opinions. As for your synastry chart, the first thing that stands out to me is you both have Mars opposing Saturn, natally and then also in composite. From what I've been reading, this is a really bad combo. I am a newbie to astrology, but I think this probably should send up a red flag. Caution, do not enter. Turn back now. I think the frustration/fighting could be magnified, but also, the energy will probably feel familiar because it's something that exists in your own charts. The houses these are placed in will also affect what each of you experiences. That's all I can really say since I am not an expert and so I should leave the advice giving to those who really know their astrology. Good luck and best wishes!MoonMysticI imagine there may betremendous points of common ground. As in twins. Were you possibly born in different zones of the planet? In my opinion couples need somerougher aspects to work well.(Passion/desire/friction)Too much flow, not enough ebbcan cause boredom. Not saying this Union WON'T work. It may justtake creativity to bring more randomness to you as a duo. Ignite a storm at times. all the best to you both!nocturnalblossom quote:Originally posted by MoonMystic:I imagine there may betremendous points of common ground. As in twins. He came to my time zone when he was about 8 or 9 and we met when we were both 14 and dated for a few years. We're both 20 now and recently reconnected and we're becoming closer. What would you suggest we do differently this time should we embark on another romantic relationship? MoonMysticNocturnalBlossom, I wouldn't haveany ideas as it depends on you both.Start with your differences. His likes/Yours. Which aren't alike? Perhaps try finding ones that are opposing andrandomly share your unlike worlds together.I doubt there are a lot of non similarareas. You not only the same Gen, your charts parallel so much you might even finish each other's sentences! but leave a couple of your own personal likes so you each get a dose of autonomy too. I'm thinking back to an old term 'the rubberband' that John Graydescribes in Men from Mars, Women are from Venus. RandallBump!TaurusVenusGirlFor what its worth, I've been in love twice in my life. And ironically, they were both 6 days from my birth-date. One was 6 days after, the other was days before. Different years though. RandallWhat are the odds!?!
