Sorry for the slow reply, I've been away.I had a go using tarot:
What does the dream mean?
Seven Wands
High Priestess
Three Wands
The trigger for the dream seems to come from a subconscious issue she has. She is going through some internal conflict (probably not aware of it) where she feels as though everything is moving forwards and she is struggling to keep up. Things are probably fine on the surface/ in her conscious mind and I think she feels as though your home environment is loving and safe. Her focus is on doing things well on a day-to-day basis and this gives her comfort.
I am inclined to think that the issue revolves around her feeling a bit helpless because you are growing up so quickly and she can see you becoming more independent. She knew that it would happen eventually but it was always far off in the future, but it is starting to become more of a reality. I don't think she has really identified this feeling, or if so she has been ignoring it or glossing over it as something to think about when the time comes. She worries that things will change and you will need her less and be out in the big bad world with all the dangers etc that entails. You have probably had your ups and downs in the past (haven't every mother/ daughter) but you've still always been there and relied on her.
Why is she having the dream?
Six of Swords
Six of Wands
Two Pents
As above really, I think she feels as though although things haven't always been easy she has brought you up well and all in all things are quite good at the moment. This brings with it the concern about things changing - it won't be like this forever and you will go out and forge your own path in the future. These thoughts are just starting to gain momentum in her mind. She knows that it is inevitable, but she will worry about it nonetheless.
I don't think his relevance in the dreams is of him as a person, more representative of something she fears you might face or a choice you might make which she feels powerless to prevent. Change. Maybe in the dream she felt powerless to stop whatever happened between the two of you?
All in all, I think it's mainly down to her feeling powerless because she knows she can't protect you forever, and this 'attack' from him is symbolic of all the things she can't protect you against. Her subconscious is highlighting this.
I'd be interested to hear other people's interpretations
