T O P I C R E V I E WHeraSpill the dirty beans! Please ------------------Wisdom comes from experience and experience comes from making bad choicesAstro keenWhich dirty beans? My partner with venus in virgo is a pre planner. He thinks of detail and checks with me beforehand (in the nicest way) what I like and don't like. I find this extremely flattering. Is also generally attentive and charming when we go out. Another thing I like very much - he remembers all the good things that happen in detail too. That's nice!BUT, my relationship is a fairly new one and I'd be interested in hearing which qualities may be Virgo driven.Ami AnneIt would be the end of a relationship if a man had Venus in Virgo. They are too picky.------------------Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/sweet-scorpionHad an ex with this placement. It was Retrograde; conjunct a Retro Mercury; squared his Moon in Scorpio in the 4th.Basically, he was a mama's boy who was conflicted with what his mother wanted for him and what he actually wanted, which totally fit the aspect. He was also inhibited sexually at times from Venus quincunx Saturn. But, I can see how classic Venus In Virgo qualities came out in him. He was pretty sensitive to my wants and needs. Always wanted to make sure I was happy and didn't seem to mind if he was too anxious to be pleased sexually or didn't feel turned on. I was always put first. Yet his consistent needs to check and double-check for me and not seem aggressive enough, kinda bothered me. I think some people need this sort of behavior but I need a way more confident partner who doesn't talk as much in bed and communicates intuitively... and his Venus In Virgo was not it.He did have the predictable needs for cleanness that goes with Virgo, and was the type who liked women with classy hair, elegant but simple clothes, and... waxed. Completely. LOL... TheManticore quote:Originally posted by Hera:Spill the dirty beans! Please What do you want to know? LOOOOLWhere are you guys getting this stuff from? Virgo is a very 'tame' sign in that respect. Not a guy, but I'm Venus in Virgo and I'm the exact opposite of that description. I'm not even sure that would be a venus thing anyway because Mars is the sex-drive. Maybe Mars in Virgo would be kinky, if Uranus made aspects to it.KarkaQueenSounds Like Eros in Virgo.... wow!!!SaturnineMothI always thought they were something like this ---- >Venus represents love, beauty, fertility, fulfillment of desires, and -birth- from a creative forceMars represents the assertive courage/strength, passion, fulfillment of ambitions, and -birth- from a physical force~ not including negatives - like jealousy (envy), lust from Venus and destruction and wrath of Mars --- both covering manipulations, and primal desire~I think kinkiness is like mutual territory~ secret lives kinda' sounds more like a Neptunian/Plutonian thing... ??but, hell - what do I know! ail221ROFL I have come across a few men both friends and partners were Venus in Virgo and from personal experience dated a Triple Virgo (Sun/Moon/Mars) with a libra venus, kinky beyond reason all of them, the men express it totally different than the women I have come across. I blamed the concentration of virgo energy. Each gender expresses their Venus sign differently.StacyLewis quote:Originally posted by SaturnineMoth:I always thought they were something like this ---- >Venus represents love, beauty, fertility, fulfillment of desires, and -birth- from a creative forceMars represents the assertive courage/strength, passion, fulfillment of ambitions, and -birth- from a physical force~ not including negatives - like jealousy (envy), lust from Venus and destruction and wrath of Mars --- both covering manipulations, and primal desire~I think kinkiness is like mutual territory~ secret lives kinda' sounds more like a Neptunian/Plutonian thing... ??but, hell - what do I know! Seriously, that's not true. Venus does have its part in relationships, but on the end (*snort*) that doesn't involve sex or the bedroom. It's the lovey-dovey part of the relationship, the "heart" part (the moon plays into this aspect too, because of the emotional component). Mars takes care of the end that involves physical urges and everything below the waist. In a general sense, Venus is also linked to the arts, and creativity, and your general aesthetic sense and personal tastes - what you think is 'pretty' or pleasant or enjoyable. Does Venus have a negative side to it? Absolutely, but so do all planets, and Venus isn't solely jealousy - which would probably be a hard Venus-Pluto aspect, anyway.Mars is how you assert yourself, defend yourself and get things done, along with your sexuality. Again, yes Mars has a negative side too, like every other sign - aggression, that sort of thing - but that's one side of it, mars isn't solely fighting and arguing. So yeah, in a strict sense, Venus isn't going to tell you how someone likes to...to put it baldly..."f*ck". That's Mars.Venus has nothing to do with fertility, either. That's fifth house territory (children), along with the moon for females, and the sun for guys.Creative force in general, whether it's children or creative projects, also isn't Venus. It's the fifth house and the sun, actually. HeraThanks for the reply, guys!I got interested when I read this article: http://astrology.about.com/od/venussigns/qt/Venus-Virgo-Man.htm I think overall it describes the guy who's brain I'm picking quite well, especially on how he has behaved with me. He is very confident and alpha (Sag Mars), but a commitment-phobe. If he's picky, I seem to fit his pattern because he is attracted to me (his Venus trines my Cap Asc) and I assumed it was because when I met him I was dressed all in white and french-manicured lmao. When I saw he was Virgo Venus, had to laugh it out. I met him a second time dressed all black and he commented I look better in white lols. Agree with what Ail said, he is uber-kinky. The man I am currently seeing is Virgo Mars and he is also kinky as hell (both to the extreme). But anyways, the "dirty beans" didn't mean sex. In that respect, I have lots of info of what he's into lol. I want to know more about the romantic stuff and how the hell I should behave to get him to come forward. I know I'm supposed to give him space and let his brain decide if I'm worth the bother but the wait is killing my 7 Fire planets lol, especially those in Aries lmao. Also cannot stand being ignored. I know when we meet IRL his eyes are all over me, but I guess I was expecting more virtual attention too and its lack makes me doubt his interest. Not to mention at present we're both seeing other people (and we both know that). Ugh.. earth planets always are the death of me. Well, not death-death, but so damn slow for things to get moving, complex and complicated. I have to go into Cap Asc mode with them and I want to be more fiery-like lately. ail221 quote:Originally posted by StacyLewis: What aspects does his Mars make? Mars conjunct his sun and moonMars trine Neptunestarmooni'm venus in virgo... romantic stuff = practical stuff, like doing things for us that show you are reliable, dependable, and can be trusted. we like spending time with our parnter and do not like to be left alone too much - space, but not too much space. romantic gestures might be: coming home to a fully cooked dinner, walking our pet/buying things for our pet, planning a weekend away, taking care of some shopping, etc. doing a few chores for us would be appreciated and is a virgo idea of romantic. please be ready on time, be well-dressed/groomed at all times - look good and don't swear or make yourself look low-class. we move forward when the partner shows they are reliableJLyn ~They need stability (money and a nice home) picky about sex partners and someone to settle down with, well groomed and fresh and so clean. Don't surprise them without a meaningful reason and secretly sensitive.Dated a Venus Virgo, but he was also had Sun in Virgo HeraOh, this one has Sun is Scorpio and a Sag Mars, as well as Taurus Moon, so he's not all that picky about sexual partners and not at all prudish, though I think he might be a little with the woman he does care for. anostI'm a Sun Scorpio with a Venus Virgo (though it's 29*). I'm not prudish, but I don't often rush into intimacy. Reliability is big deal, as is sense of duty in relationships. I'm not a neat freak about appearances but I love a girl who can clean up nice in a simple way and takes pride in any work she sets out to do. I like for my partner to be health conscious, I have a major thing for bookish types (i.e. women with glasses, somewhat reserved, intelligent on many topics, clever, ect..), I'm a complete sucker for fresh and clean scents, and I admire ornate, detail oriented art, natural beauty, and animals.HeraHey, thank you Anost! His Venus is 3rd decanate too, 22 deg. Damn, I stopped wearing glasses a few years ago, maybe I should start again? As for health conscious, does being a doctor count?
