I know that others have read this thread and may still read it. So I will respond point by point best I can to give some context and order to this ...

Then at minimum that afternoon time will be a 'set aside', knowing that you do not fit Gemini rising (and I agree). It is possible that PM was designated wrongly when birth was really AM. Wouldn't be the first time.

i've been meaning to email you back and i have about 3 drafts in my email account because i don't know how to say that any of the ascendant options fit me.
You don't have to come to conclusions before the rectification. That is what the process is for, to make use of expert astrological literacy from someone who will listen and take in all the information as your truth.

this whole thing is making me lose my belief in astrology. rectification and relocation chart and all of that.
Most professional astrologers (much less students) do not have the astrological literacy to do rectification work. The only time that I've recommended a person do such chart adjustments is when they know they fit the rising sign they are supposed to have, but the degree doesn't seem right, or when it is obvious they better fit the preceding rising sign. That is far more manageable.
No need to make yourself crazy.
Trying to rectify across a wide time range (or the full day) is like trying to write your biography in a language you're only somewhat familiar with. You'd get an expert in that language to help you co-write. Otherwise you would make yourself crazy.

All i know for sure is that there's fire/martian energy on the ascendant.
That could be a good starting place for me to work with, but it is imperative that you first write down things you know are true and core to your personality -- in non-astrological terms. Use ordinary language. Let the rectifier be translator.

the other thing you mentioned was no way for pisces and aries, which is interesting because i think aries would be an option since it occupies less than 30 minutes between pisces and taurus, I have the aries eyebrows and i have a visible birth mark on my face.
This is an example of what I mean by astrological literacy. There is really no such thing as body parts styled a certain way belonging entirely to a particular 30° span of the zodiac. I know I may've also used such terms at times, but they are not to be taken literally as gospel truth. They are observations to be integrated into on overall picture.
What is most important is personality. If fire/Mars is what you most relate to, I accept that you know yourself best and would be looking for how that could/should be emphasized in the birth chart.

the biggest cause of my doubt in astrology is frankly the transits.doesn't matter which ascendant - the transits for all fit.
Not possible. Lack of precision or clear application of transits to life events.
quote:
i pulled up information on Saturn, jupiter and pluto transitting the houses and the description for every house fits. honestly.
Lack of clarity due to your level of astrological literacy and/or the sources of information you are relying on for interpretation.
quote:
I can't use transits to determine which is accurate ...
Truth.
quote:
because it doesn't matter how i turn the ascendant line - everything is affected, with equal intensity at the same time so there's no way of discerning chapters really.
Not true for an expert with .... here it comes again ... the depth of astrological literacy needed for rectification.
quote:
i'm chatty like a gemini
i love beauty and money like a taurus/libra
i'm a go getter and don't take **** like an aries
i am emotional like a cancer when the time to be so happens
i'm meticulous and a perfectionist like a virgo
i am loud and have big curly mane like a leo
i have been told i'm initimdating like a scorpio ascendant.
i am very expansive and philosophical like a sagittarius
i am ambitious as hell like a capricorn (sun/moon so obv)
i like to stir **** up and make changes when they need to be changed like an aquarius
and i am emotional elusive and as sensitive as a piscesastrology just doesn't seem to hold up to me anymore
and i think i'm exhausted in trying to make it work for me when i just doesn't seem like it does.
I can imagine. The simplistic stereotypes you are working give tidbits that could seem to resonate with many people.
thank you Kannon for the message you sent me and with trying to help me figure this thing out, but i think i'm just at a dead end. especially with relocation charts coming into play. i don't know[/QUOTE]
Quite simply, a legitimate chart cannot result from a non-legitimate one. If a Gemini rising natal chart is not accurate then it cannot produce a secondary chart that is.
This is all an example of why I offer the service I do, and why I try to answer questions related to the Ascendant and birth chart accuracy. The popular information spread across the internet (often from outdated texts) is not reliable for rectification work. This is why I have given my own summaries for all the rising signs, and why I take time to answer inquiries and give estimates/assessments for people's birth chart and possible rectification situations.
It has taken me 20 years of study to reach this level of ability, and I'm not done yet. I've been attempting rectifications since 2000, and have only become reasonably competent in the last several years.
You are the one who knows yourself best, so it is important that write down everything you know about yourself in plain terms (not astrological terms). What is making you crazy is switching back and forth constantly between what you know about yourself in raw, ordinary terms and what 'should' mean in astrological terms.
Look at my rectification questionnaire for an example of what I mean:
