sthenri | Here's the gift that says it all! http://www.hotwifecharms.com/ HWC News Line: Thousands of husbands have reported a remarkable rise in the quality of their sex lives after giving a Hotwife Charm to their mate. Sexual excess of all types has been reported. (See the following article on Lifestyles for further explanation). The Surgeon General considers issuing a health warning on the gold charms! Flash: Fairies and Devils Coexist! HWC News Line: Sociologists surprise the nation with unexpected finding that Devils & Angels coexist in some women. Diane (founder of Hotwife Charms) states “These scientists are absolute idiots! Anyone who has ever loved a woman knows Angels, Devils, Fairies, and Sirens are always found together!” Natasha Taurus |
astro junkie | Ooooh! Nice! I've collected a few Mermaid charms, and have "Hylas & the Nymphs" hanging in my bedroom - but that naked fairy is a nice design! |
Gemini Nymph | Well, this isn't nearly as interesting for me as the Gemini voodoo doll I came across at one website. The seller's claim was that it would keep your Gemini partner from cheating on you! Oddly, they didn't have Voodoo dolls for any other sign. Every Gem has a "devil" inside - the "evil twin that lives in my head" as I like to call it. Unfortunately, the "good twin" usually isn't very good either. |
LibraSparkle | I have to agree with my Devil's Advocate Taurus hubby on this one. He could give me just about ANY piece of jewelery that costs $330, and get a rise in sexual activity out of me |
astro junkie | You know those labels wrapped around the head of a cigar? If someone puts one of those around my finger, I'm excited. Or take a blade of grass, or stem, and tie it on my finger. Hey... I'm a cheap date... I'm easy to please... |
pidaua | LibraSparkle...LOL....I must agree with that. Taurus men do give very nice gifts. |
Gemini Nymph | Wow, girls. I don't get jewelry. I don't wear it or really own any. I enjoy making jewelry, largely because I like making pretty things with my hands, but I usually just give that stuff away. Guys who dated me were warned adamently fromt he beginning not to give me gifts to flatter, woo or entice me - such gestures tend to scare me off (feels like a commitment) or **** me off (feels too manipulative). I hate romantic gifts because there's always strings attached and I'm just not materialistic enough to be amused by the gifts themselves. I guess I'm not very romantic...or sentimental - I've pitched every gift a past boyfriend ever gave me. |
sthenri | GeminiN, don't throw them away, sell those gifts on Ebay:>I know the kind of gift you mean, I think. I have given away many gifts too, now I just ask for peace and quiet, or a walk in the park, or an expensive coffee drink. something personal. But a hotwife charm would have been pretty interesting while married! I like humorous gifts, or cards that talk. I have every card a boyfriend ever gave me tucked away. They say so much about the way you were. My favorite cards were the funny ones, humour is underated in relationships. Natasha Taurus |
astro junkie | My Cancer Moon is so extremely sensitive to memories, I have learned, that since way back, I regularly get rid of anything that brings me a bad memory. Just keep trying to move forward all the time cuz I'm too sentimental for my own good! What gives you your strength Natasha! |
sthenri | Gloria, I throw away the "bad" letters, I know, it's not really accurate but I only keep things that make me feel good. I only read these things when I need inspiration for a project, and sometimes I even use them in an art project such as a collage. Wouldn't you like to use old gifts as art? Serves my frugal Cancer moon to recycle. Other times I will be reminded of someone and meet up with someone similar, or try to relate to someone new through an old memory. I find tolerance difficult with some of those who I sell to, so I focus on someone I knew who was good. Make sense? Natasha I know how sensitive your moon is! |
astro junkie | Right - that's like me too! I've been going through long phases the last few years where it's difficult to listen to music, like, my current CD's or music on the radio. I'll even wake up and realize a memories of what was happening on the exact same day the year before! That happens ALL the time. |
sthenri | I have decided I must be a hedonist, That sounds like me:>Gloria, my moon in the 8th makes brooding too likely so I do something physical when a memory comes up, I make sure I am far away from any ex boyfriend's phone number! Natasha Taurus |
purplezen | me too astrojunkie, with the music. i can only listen to smashing pumpkins when i am dating someone or else i get very depressed, big time! |
astro junkie | Yeah - you know what I mean! |
ghanima81 | I keep cards, letters, (both written to me, and by my that I was too afraid to give)pictures, jewelery, clothing, anything. I don't think that it's because they don't affect me anymore, but it's having something familiar around. Something comforting and from ''home'', if that makes sense. And I always pull out my mixed tapes or burned cd's when I'm feeling nostalgic. I also reread poetry I wrote to get a reminder of what I was feeling then... Kinda weird now that I think about it, but for some reason those things make me happy. Guess that seems masochistic a bit... Ghani |
