My father left my mother before I was born, so I can relate to the unloved, unwanted feelings. All my life I've struggled with relationships with the opposite sex because I have no self-esteem and feel unworthy of love. I find myself unattractive (despite my Venus in Taurus conjunct the Ascendant) and am unable to approach guys I find attractive. My past relationships have been with men who were unsuitable (to say the least) and who cheated on me. Worst of all, in my head I believe no matter what if I were in a relationship, he'd end up leaving me. That's what men do, right? They leave.I just love my Saturn in the 4th house (square my Venus, Mars and Ascendant in Taurus!) blue moonMy elder son has Saturn in the 4th, in Gemini. It's got to live somewhere. His early start wasn't the easiest, as his little brother (close in age) had poor health for his first couple of years. So I think this has worked out he had to be responsible early. You can see it in action at school, where he rushes to look after anyone who has hurt themselves, the littler children and the disabled kids. It's ingrained. A good friend of mine also has Saturn in the 4th, but in Aries. He had older parents, they'd both been married before and had grown-up children. He didn't have any cause to feel unloved and unwanted either, the opposite. His dad died when he was a teenager and was nursed at home, so again some responsibilites in the home-life and maturity forced by the circumstances. 23 http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/017369.html Moving away from home has helped. The thing I don't like about it is that it opposed my already detrimented sun. It kind of makes me feel like a donut, a sugary sweet structured thing on the outside (must be all the jupiter stuff) and nothing on the inside. I curse the maker sometimes for not connecting me. Its a bit security issue, I feel like a crab with no shell, constantly striving to feel secure, but feel I have nowhere to hide. That's one too many analogies. Yes, I do feel unloved a lot. It hasn't really affected me much in personal-love relationships but it has had a major effect on my friendships and it takes a lot for others to befriend me because I never feel wanted and I test them out a lot (saturn also squares my uranus, which is in the 7th. Ura rules by 11th). And the return was terrible too....But despite all that, I take comfort that it was my past and not my future. It might hold me back but I have to remember its in the past. 23Oh I thought of another thing, an insoluble link to home. Maybe an insoluble link to parents or past history. How does that sound?Poupoupidou quote:There is often great emotional instability with Saturn in the fourth house, and a definite feeling of having been unloved, unwanted, is common.Well, it depends how Saturn is involved with other aspects.
