T O P I C R E V I E WLibralove09i was just wondering, everyone here emphasizes the 5th and 8th house in relationships, and attraction. and the 7th for marriage and such.but this is only 3 houses out of 12.what other houses should i be looking at for nice synastry in a relationship?i mean, what planets are good in which houses?im guessing to exclude the 6th n 2nd house as they are more business partnership dealings?blue moonPersonally I think the question is the wrong way around. I think synastry is most helpful when you meet someone, and you check out what makes you tick as a couple. But if you want to scan through some of the potential meanings of planets in each other's houses, this is a good site: http://www.skyviewzone.com/lovematch/sunsynastryhouse.htm This is what SkyViewZone says about Venus in 2nd house quote:Venus in a partner’s second house:When your Venus is in your romantic partner’s second house, you enjoy giving your partner gifts. You enhance his or her appreciation for money and the beauty of finer material possessions as well as your partner's ability to attract what he or she desires. When your relationship partner’s Venus is in your second house, your partner tends to go a bit overboard spending money on you, while you feel inspired to enjoy and appreciate financial security. You are attracted to developing your talents and resourcefulness with a goal of using them to create self sufficiency. As I read that, I thought, that doesn't sound bad, I could live with that. Then I checked my charts on Astro. I do live with that, and have done for many years. MyVirgoMaskLOL Blue Moon Hey Libralove, you might try looking at this thread too: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/000218.html It wasn't so long ago. Also: 2nd house is a very physical house as well. Not all money. That means pleasure and what pleasures we get on the physical plane. 4th house is pretty important too, IMO. That's pretty much your soul. 6th house isn't business. Good grief, man. How boring can you get. Broaden your horizons: It includes day to say stuff, experience with people and general cooperation. It's the house of healing and care-taking. It's also selfless service to an extent. That means if you have personal planets in there in synastry, it might get a little ... hmm. Boring. LOL.Until their own personal planets are in there...and the planet ruler of their 1st, 5th, 7th, 8th. amowlsthe 2nd can be a marriage house too. same values and thoughts about money 6th house isnt so bad in synastry, if you have a very focused 6th house in the composite, that can be pretty crappy.Green Fairy1nd H - first impressions/the ego-self2nd H - self values/materials3rd H - communication/siblings4th H - family/nurturing5th H - playful romance/kids6th H - everyday tasks/being organized7th H - the type of relationship/partner that is desired8th H - deeper issues/shedding old skins/habits9th H - expanding/getting to know the world10th H - the public/shared goals/stability11th H - friendship/being open-minded/sharing12th H - idealistic romance/losing yourselfthose are just a few keywordsaugentierI think the 4th house is very important..it shows deep intimacy and comfort with someone. I have 4th house action going on with this guy..his Venus & Sun are in my 4th house and I feel we belong together..there was, from the start, an overwhelming sense of familiarity and attachment between us.Libralove09thanks for input so far everyone,bm, i didn't mean house synastry is more important for synastry or anything, im just wondering what other houses can be of help in close relationships?because you see, im a little unlucky, most of my planets are in the 3rd and 6th.so any nice conjunctions of good synastry by aspects, won't particularly be in romantic/marriage/etc houses.so im wondering what other houses show good potential for feelings of wanting to be together, or to wanna be part of a relationship.if some ones venus conjuncts my sun, its in the 1st house :/my mars is in the 2nd. my mercury and venus are in the 3rd.these aren't the kind of 'relationship' houses that people far more emphasize on in the 5th/7th/8th house.iv seen the 4th house pop up a few times as it has done in this topic, but i only have pluto in my 4th.
but this is only 3 houses out of 12.

This is what SkyViewZone says about Venus in 2nd house
quote:Venus in a partner’s second house:When your Venus is in your romantic partner’s second house, you enjoy giving your partner gifts. Venus in a partner’s second house:
When your Venus is in your romantic partner’s second house, you enjoy giving your partner gifts. Then I checked my charts on Astro. I do live with that, and have done for many years.
