T O P I C R E V I E WLionFish..make you feel?I was looking through all the charts that I have saved on astro earlier while I was responding to a thread about angles and attraction, and I noticed that very few people in my list shared a planet in the same sign as my IC which is Libra. The few who do have placements in Libra are mostly conjunct my IC within 2 degrees and being around these people makes me uncomfortable in my own skin. It's not that I dislike them, because I honestly can't come up with a reason to do so for any of them. But just being in the same room as these people puts me on edge. There's a connection there, a powerful one, but it's not pleasant, at least not for me.Does anybody else feel this way? Or know what could cause me to?------------------Leo ASC, Pis Sun, Tau moonBeareeI only know one guy whos Venus conjuncts my IC. I feel really comfortable and safe around him. I don't have that with other guys =) Doux RêveLionFish,It's probably because our IC is afflicted, or the planet they put in your 4th makes hard aspects somewhere in your chart.Personally, I'm with Bearee on this one, usually IC contacts are very comfortable.Although, it depends on the whole synastry..I've known people who make me uncomfortable - they usually put something "masculine" on my IC, like Mars or even the Sun.That's because the IC is a very private, intimate place. It's the lowest point in the chart, directly opposite the MC - so it's hidden, we don't always want someone to touch us there.SilverFeatherI have natal Sun and Mars both conjunct my IC in Sagittarius. My best friend Jupiter conjunct my IC and when I'm around her,I have this feeling of being bigger than life, this feeling of wanting to conquer all together, we used to bike around the neighborhood, always laughing and joking around.I always feel "free" when I'm with her which something rare because of my Moon Square Uranus harsh aspect, an aspect that makes me generally wary of intimacy. charlieI have the IC in Scorpio 3H conj Uranus and NN. Have Sag on the 4H cusp with Neptune. I don't like Scorpios except for the Moons but I do like everything about Saggis! I have Pisces on the DC and have dated quite a few but don't think that will happen again. MillyXI knew this guy who had his sun exactly conjunct my IC. How did he make me feel? Well he made me cry lol. I was a sensitive baby. Since the IC rules the roots & home...I viewed him as a homebody. He is a very family oriented guy, protects his bros. no matter what, stays at home most of the time. I love her to pieces, but I feel like I can't just be me when I'm with her.Another friend has his Sun in the exact same spot as her Uranus and I feel exactly the same around him as I do her. But I feel less guilty about it, probably because we don't have the other awesome synastry aspects I share with the first person..There are a couple others I could look at, I think one person had their Pluto/Saturn conjunction about 2 degrees away. All masculine bodies and not only that, but signs of illumination, reform, and power... No wonder my IC doesn't appreciate them lol.. Can I get a nice Venus/IC conjunction? That sounds swell lolRooted_Tree_33Whoa I just realized Prince Charles’ Sedna was conjunct Diana’s IC …!Aries23DegreesDon't meet many Cancer Moons. Maybe they are all living in the Shire somewhere avoiding a tall Grey bearded old man who'll drag them into an adventure? 🤣🤣I meet Cap Moons a lot though(10th). I get on with them , then i don't. Its up/down most times. StawrMy husband's Sun and Jupiter conjuncts my IC. After a while I felt like he was holding me back in life. I learned he never supported my career goals. I can completely relate to what you said. My IC is also ruled by Aquarius. When people place their planets there, we do bond over being “the black sheep”, the outcast, the misfit, social rejects…etc The issue is I have a stellium in Leo in my 10th, so while I may have been any of those things at some point in my life, I have risen above it. It didn’t take all that long. People who place their planets on my IC often haven’t. They are stuck in black sheep mode, forever rebelling and wondering why their advances are not accepted by others. They want their freedom to choose among people but bemoan there being no takers. 🤔😬Until my SA Moon progressed into Libra, I felt compelled to respond to their “need” for acceptance. All of her siblings were really creative, my mum was, too. They encouraged each other. implosionsI've got Moon on my IC so I'm used to most energies coming and going.
