cooljen | Hello. I've created a thread before asking about being faint at heart, or getting light-headed easily, see here http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/211318.html Well, now I'm wondering if anyone with Moon-Uranus contacts in their chart, specifically hard aspects, has ever fainted or maybe been light-headed. I actually had an experience recently where I fainted. It was very quick, happened suddenly. Anyway, the other day I was reading in my "Aspects in Astrology" book about moon-Uranus contacts. I was actually reading it about someone else, though I forgot it applies to me as well because I have Moon in Taurus at 5 deg inconjunct Uranus in Sagittarius at 5 deg. I can't quote the book exactly because I don't have it with me but it said something like 'I have even known some people with hard Moon-Uranus contacts to faint as a way to cut-off emotionally, much like an electrical appliance that shorts out because of electrical overload'. Its funny because that's kind of like what happened with me. Something really bothered me at the moment. I wasn't panicking or anything, but I couldn't get away and it was like my body decided to leave the situation by losing consciousness. I don't know if anyone on here has experienced anything similar - probably not. But what do you think about that and maybe Moon-Uranus's role in cutting out? ------------------ Leo with Scorpio Rising & Moon in Taurus. |
Ceridwen | yes, actually been fighting dizzy spells, almost fainting as it felt for a big part of my life. Though actually fainting I did maybe once or twice, only. It was really troublesome when Tr Uranus was conjunct my natal Moon (in Aquarius). My Moon has no aspect to Uranus, but it is tightly parallel Uranus (and Juno and contraparallel Pluto. lol) |

yes, that is usually the reason (unless weather is changing or I hadn`t been drinking enough) |
anonymidarkness | I have an exact quincunx like you but I have not fainted so far. |
Pure | I have Moon in Aquarius conjunct Uranus and I've never fainted. The only semi-related thing I can think of is if an event emotionally hurts me I have the ability to erase/block it out from my concious memory. |
Ceridwen | I have never contributed my dizzy spells to my Moon in Aquarius though. Always thought that Neptune conjunct Mars and ASC might be the reason. |
hannaramaa | I have moon tribe Uranus and have random bouts of vertigo, but I think moon tribe Saturn helps stabilize this aspect. |
cooljen | hmm well if Saturn helps stabilize it, I guess mine doesn't. I have Saturn opposite my Moon! |
hannaramaa | Lol well you have the opposition though! Tribe is in harmony and a very smooth type of energy, almost undetectable. Opposition? Girl, please. |
hannaramaa | On top of that I think you Moon Saturn opposition would actually weigh down other aspects, as in pull them out into the open more easily so you feel their effects in a plainer manner than if you had the trine or sextile etc. |
cooljen | lol, I thought about that too. What about with Pluto thrown in the mix? My Pluto is conjunct Saturn and so, opposite the Moon as well. Maybe that intensifies it? The Pluto is actually the apex, I think, of a kite in my chart. So maybe that intensifies it? I don't know. |
SilverFeather | Moon SQUARE Uranus here.. I do get that vertigo feeling almost everytime I wake up or when I'm faced with emotional-overload. Moon Trine Saturn Aspect helps me through so thank the stars for it |
m.blade | Moon opposite uranus (leo and aquarius respectively) I do get light headed sometimes especially when I'm not thinking properly or am very upset |
charlie | I have moon sextile Uranus and have problems with this and they seem to get worse with age. |
cooljen | Yes, my first lightheaded or vasovagal episode was when I was 10 and it wasn't too bad. I was able to get up and leave eventually & the feeling went away. Over the years I've had other episodes randomly when something bothers me, but in recent years, I swear it seems to be getting worse, more sensitive. This recent episode is the 1st time I ended up fainting, and like I said it happened so fast. But I also think recent stress (from work) only made the reaction more severe. I've fainted one other time before but that was after I got a vaccine at the doctors office. I was told beforehand that was a possible side effect but that it only happens to like 5% of the people that take it... Guess I'm in that 5%!Anyway, But it really seems like the slightest thing (medical) if it bothers me for a moment will trigger that response. |
girlwiththerainysoul | my dear cousin has his aries conjunction of sun/mercury/venus (9th/10th house) square his cappy stellium of moon/uranus/neptune/saturn conjunction (6th/7th house). he suffered from severe seizures (and fainting) when he was an infant. he was under medication well into his late teens. thankfully he's been fine for years now. I myself have the quintile and yes, I used to get this strange dizziness followed by my body shaking slightly, as if electrified for a second or two. sometimes my eyes would blackout. I haven't experienced this in two or three years. I remember I only fainted once for a short time years ago. can't remember if it was for seconds or minutes, because I was alone. |
FruityLlama | I have Moon sq Uranus. I was born with Petit Mal (child form of epilepsy) but I've never had trouble with my head in terms of fainting or zoning out (like, neurologically I mean...I daydream but thats different). The only time i recently felt light headed was when I had blood taken and that made me feel woozy, I don't know why because I'm not squeamish or anything. |
teasel | I have dizzy spells. Moon inconjunct Uranus here. |
AwakenSky16 | Moon aqua trine uranus libra. My parents told me that when I was a child I fainted when I was at school I can't remember that. However, this summer, it happened to me once again, very strong. I think I was exhausted emotionally and physically. This said medically speaking it would be more linked to a significant drop in tension. Mine already being very low naturally. Venous sensibility perhaps on the side of the sign of Aquarius? I think I read that somewhere ...
