T O P I C R E V I E WjaygirlHello all! This is my first topic up here, nice to meet you all haha! Quick question though. I've met someone with Aquarius rising and venus but with a Taurus moon and Mars however all I've seen displayed are the Aquarian attributes (needing space, unaffectionate, humanitarian, loves to talk my head off, etc.) Where in the world does the bull play it's part? Do any of you have earth and air conflicts?------------------Taurus RisingAries SunSag MoonAries Mercury Taurus VenusWith 3 of those in the 12th house to boot! lalalindaHello jaygirl! Welcome to LL Mars shows how you act out your Sun sign so with a Mars/Taurus and to a lesser extent Moon/Taurus he would be slow to act/react, not impulsive, and focused on a tangible goal that is within his reach. Do any of you have earth and air conflicts?i had a bf like this - aqua venus and sun, but taurus moon and mars. he was also very aqua and wanted a friendly vibe - the taurus mostly came through in his work (he was VERY stable in his career and ambitious), and i also saw it come through with things like how he dressed, the foods/health things he was into, and the fact he was very reliable. usually as you get to know someone - especially a man - you see the traits come out more. if you're not dating a person it's often hard to know what they're really about because your interactions get limited to seeing their sun, imo.jaygirl quote:Originally posted by starmoon: i had a bf like this - aqua venus and sun, but taurus moon and mars. he was also very aqua and wanted a friendly vibe - the taurus mostly came through in his work (he was VERY stable in his career and ambitious), and i also saw it come through with things like how he dressed, the foods/health things he was into, and the fact he was very reliable. usually as you get to know someone - especially a man - you see the traits come out more. if you're not dating a person it's often hard to know what they're really about because your interactions get limited to seeing their sun, imo.Yeah we've been dating for about 6 months I guess I was hoping he would want more affection like a Taurus...eventually lol his sun is in Pisces though *shrugs*jaygirlBut he is very reliable and ambitious career-wise so I guess it does show!------------------Taurus RisingAries SunSag MoonAries Mercury Taurus VenusWith 3 of those in the 12th house to boot! BellaFeniceThat is interesting- I am an Aqua Sun and Venus with Taurus Mars. So I do not know if my experiences will help. but I have more of an intellectualized approach to love, and often will attract unique, smart, and quirky people in dating. I struggle between needing independence and distance with physical closeness and stability. Taurus Mars helps partly with what type of guy I find attractive, and describes my slow and methodical approach to work. I'm sure with a Taurus Moon he is hooked on your Taurus rising and Venus. Moon may reflect in his need for security, love for physical pleasures like food, and other Taurean themes (depends on the aspects). But with Aqua Venus, again it is more of a detached and intellectualize type of love. What does his chart look like, this may explain why he doesn't want as much affection as you expected. The thing about chart placements is that the aspects can highly modify the way they manifest. A Taurus Moon aspecting Uranus, for example, would make someone a little more detached than expected. jaygirl quote:Originally posted by BellaFenice:I struggle between needing independence and distance with physical closeness and stability. Haha! Yeah that's him! We recently fell out about him spending time with me 5 days out the week then him cutting it back to maybe 3 hours a week saying he wasn't ready to be "lovey dovey" haha! I understood. If anything it excites me for the chase! quote: Moon may reflect in his need for security, love for physical pleasures like food, and other Taurean themes (depends on the aspects). I can be very loving and have a big romantic streak but that might not really come across to alot of people. I think you have to get close to me before you see that side of me come out. Maybe it's the same with that guy? I think aquarius people, particularly the men, get an unfair rap for being cold and unloving. In my case I can come off that way but it's only because i'm not good at expressing emotions sometimes. It's not because i'm trying to be a prick or anything, I just don't know how to. jaygirl quote:Originally posted by aquaguy91:I'm a man with an aquarius sun, aquarius ascendant, aquarius venus, gemini mars, and taurus moon so maybe I can help.First of all, I think my taurus moon softens me up quite a bit. I think the thing about Aquarius is we're very guarded and kind of paranoid. I am a very romantic person but it's hard to get in and very easy to be shut out. A lot of times I've been open to something more with a person but they do something that makes it impossible for me to open up that side of me,Seems like a lot of the time girls don't really know if a guy with Aqua placements likes them or not. I've seen it happen to them and I've experienced it myself being the object of affection of an aqua-y guy. I don't mind through because I hate the opposite... A guy that is more emotionally demonstrative than how he actually feels.bansheequeenI am an aqua sun with Taurus Mars. You are just seeing his rising sign, the most shallow part of him. And maybe his Venus too if it's in the first house. The moon sign you might have to get to know him better to see a glimpse of, not a lot of people reveal their emotional side to everyone. I need space from everyone except the few that are close to me, and that is very very few people. Those few people, I can't get enough of. I am only affectionate to my boyfriend and that wa only after dating him for a while. I don't shower affection on people I just meet or casually date. They have to earn their way inside and gain my trust. But sometimes the rising sign is so strong. I think a lot of people might think I'm a Virgo, because I was raised in a very Virgo environment and it's hard to get away from the way I was raised. I always try to be proper and gentle within manners lol. Maybe this guy is always trying to be talkative and aloof encase that's hoe he was raised.I don't think earth and air conflict very much, I think all elements can be harmonious. For Aqua and Taurus I think it would make a person that loves excitement and physical pleasure. If both can be mixed even better. Maybe drugs and alcohol or clubs or roller coasters and fun events. Holds beauty to high standard and cares about how their partner looks. Really loves music and art... Beautiful things that can be mentally appreciated. Likes to cuddle while having hours long convos. Doing mentally stimulating things while being cozy in a nice environment. I love reading in bed with tea and cookies!SaturnFanAquarius Venus/ AC conjunction square Taurus Moon here. There's definitely a conflict between these 2 energies. Air pulls you into exploration and freedom, Earth/ Taurus pulls you into comfort. As with all challenging placements, the person needs to find balance between them within, and until that happens external people and events will balance it out for them. They'll fall/ aim for 1 extreme, get disappointed, reconnect with the other extreme, that has been more or less repressed in their nature, and so on until inner balance is found. When an Air-heavy person with squares to Earth is acting defensive about commitment, then they still need to figure out what kind of freedom they need and why. Since I share an AC, a Venus and a Moon with your guy, I think it's safe for me to assume that he first will want to connect deeply on an intellectual level, and will get a kick out of discussing ideas, fulfilling conversation, great humour (not the silly kind, but the "dry"and "smart" kind), then he'll start wanting more and more. Once you find yourself alone with him, in an engaging in-depth conversation, sipping wine and sharing a cheese platter, chocolate or olives, then you've managed to connect to both his Aquarius side and his Taurus Moon If this is what your dates look like, you're already going in the right direction, even if it doesn't feel like it yet.jaygirlThanks you guys this is great feedback! I appreciate it! I mentioned earlier that we had a bit of a tiff about him being distant all of a sudden and I honestly stopped talking to him for about a week because my feelings were hurt (My cancer mars). But I called and said we should talk it out and we had the deepest emotional conversation we've ever had.The just of it being him pretty much telling me he tries to go against his aquarian nature of needing space then he gets tired and backs off. Usually never to return again lol (he mentioned an off/on switch that never switches back to "on") Do you think your taurus placements add even more caution to your guarded aquarian?SaturnFan quote:Originally posted by jaygirl:Thanks you guys this is great feedback! It should be the exact opposite, he needs to integrate it. My advice is to talk with him about what he sees as "freedom". There's this wide-spread idea that strong Aquarian energy leads to promiscuity and infidelity, but I've found this to very, very rarely be the case. Most often, Aquarius-heavy people need to feel free in expressing themselves, making friends, pursuing goals and ideas. Intimately, we're ok and even prefer to connect with just 1 person. But intellectually, we would connect to the whole population on Earth, if we could. I think if you talk this out, and he becomes more conscious on what kind of freedom he needs (i.e. could be going out with friends more, having more alone time to read, could be any number of things), and sees that he can have it within a relationship, then he won't need to 'go against' a part of his nature in order to have a strong and healthy relationship jaygirlThanks so much Saturn! He doesn't know he's going against his aquarius nature actually...all he knows is that he's a Pisces Sun lol! But I will definitely have that convo with him. Whether we make things official down the line or not, I think that is something he needs to realize to have a fulfilling relationship SaturnFanGood luck, jaygirl! He's a lucky guy to have someone as understanding as you bansheequeen quote:Originally posted by jaygirl:Thanks you guys this is great feedback! It makes me very very careful and slow moving. It makes me slow to open up even if it is all I am craving and I want the person so bad. So I know that I am one hard person to deal with, but good for you for having the patience jaygirlThanks you guys for your help! I'm pretty sure I've gotten friend zoned though lol its okay. I guess romance wasn't written in the stars for this one!
