Mars shows how you act out your Sun sign so with a Mars/Taurus and to a lesser extent Moon/Taurus he would be slow to act/react, not impulsive, and focused on a tangible goal that is within his reach. Sure and steady.

Taurus Mars helps partly with what type of guy I find attractive, and describes my slow and methodical approach to work. I'm sure with a Taurus Moon he is hooked on your Taurus rising and Venus. Moon may reflect in his need for security, love for physical pleasures like food, and other Taurean themes (depends on the aspects). But with Aqua Venus, again it is more of a detached and intellectualize type of love.

What does his chart look like, this may explain why he doesn't want as much affection as you expected. The thing about chart placements is that the aspects can highly modify the way they manifest. A Taurus Moon aspecting Uranus, for example, would make someone a little more detached than expected.

Haha! Yeah that's him! We recently fell out about him spending time with me 5 days out the week then him cutting it back to maybe 3 hours a week saying he wasn't ready to be "lovey dovey" haha! I understood. If anything it excites me for the chase!

First of all, I think my taurus moon softens me up quite a bit. I can be very loving and have a big romantic streak but that might not really come across to alot of people. I think you have to get close to me before you see that side of me come out. Maybe it's the same with that guy?
I think aquarius people, particularly the men, get an unfair rap for being cold and unloving. In my case I can come off that way but it's only because i'm not good at expressing emotions sometimes. It's not because i'm trying to be a prick or anything, I just don't know how to.

I think the thing about Aquarius is we're very guarded and kind of paranoid. I am a very romantic person but it's hard to get in and very easy to be shut out. A lot of times I've been open to something more with a person but they do something that makes it impossible for me to open up that side of me,

But sometimes the rising sign is so strong. I think a lot of people might think I'm a Virgo, because I was raised in a very Virgo environment and it's hard to get away from the way I was raised. I always try to be proper and gentle within manners lol. Maybe this guy is always trying to be talkative and aloof encase that's hoe he was raised.

As with all challenging placements, the person needs to find balance between them within, and until that happens external people and events will balance it out for them. They'll fall/ aim for 1 extreme, get disappointed, reconnect with the other extreme, that has been more or less repressed in their nature, and so on until inner balance is found. When an Air-heavy person with squares to Earth is acting defensive about commitment, then they still need to figure out what kind of freedom they need and why.
