T O P I C R E V I E WQueen SalomeIs there a way to help ourselves?I think this is due to afflicted Mars and several very sensitive points.SoltzeI could tell you all the standard stuff: meditate, have hope etc etc. But beyond the obvious what works for me is trying to detach myself from my feelings about what's happening at the moment. And I mean detach like you're watching yourself, not repressing what you feel.If you need to cry or scream just do it...don't hold in.Besides that I seek the advice of Tarot it helps me coping and decide my next moves when things are tough.charlieI guess I am lucky in a sense that I have an extremely prominent Jupiter that aspects all my personal planets by trine or sextile and also sits at the highest point in my chart (culminating) conjunct MC, but in 9H. My Moon is ruled by Saturn and is the depositor of my Sun so no hardship faces me much. I just dig down and keep going. I do have Mars in 12H sq Neptune but conj Asc and it gives me drive and an inner power to plod along. There is something good in all negative so try to look at it that way astra7I have a bad Mars too.Don't get bogged down about it because that won't change anything. Just keep going, keep working at yourself. Be it meditation or whatever that makes you happy. bansheequeenI watch a lot of TV, lose myself in video games or books. I don't leave the house. Queen SalomeThe problem is that I often feel that way, because I break down on every larger obstacle. I just feel that Im not strong enough to deal with life.''World is a hell in which optimists can be only those who are insensitive, stupid or millionaires'', said one writer, and I cannot agree more. Instead look to Saturn and Pluto. When you feel that you are not up to the challenges of your own life, this can be an empowerment issue, or it may be a lack of clarity in understanding your actual responsibilities (response-ability). One astrologer told me than in my past life I was some kind of spiritual leader, which actually makes sense to me. I was reading buddhist literature when I was 15, but showed interest in religion and spirituality much before. But as I am growing, I feel incapable to deal even with small problems. Currently I am having difficult period and cant see any light. I feel life is way too dificult to endure it..

Where is your SN and Moon?
I'm not sure this is just about an afflicted Mars.
When you feel that you are not up to the challenges of your own life, this can be an empowerment issue, or it may be a lack of clarity in understanding your actual responsibilities (response-ability). This can be due to a shortage of energy and physical vigor to tackle your daily challenges, or it may be more due to psychological perspective (often a mixture of both).

Mars shows how we function day-to-day, but Pluto shows the empowerment that underlies that.
