T O P I C R E V I E WLiliya~ I don't mean emergency c-sections ~Sorry, I don't have an exact theory or anything, just thought about it the other day So many thoughts, but it feels like jibberish in my head, and I'm struggling to summarise (hello, Saturn in 3rd). I hope people will join in this discussion Currently I live in a country, which has one of the highest c-section rates in the World, if not the highest (around 80%). Doctors here suggest, and even push pregnant women to have operation, instead of a natural birth. The thing is, both deliveries cost the same price, yet c-section takes less than an hour and can be scheduled for any time of the day, while natural birth takes hours (I know someone who was in labour for almost 2 days), and baby doesn't ask for permission to leave Doctors here mostly do it for financial (again, I don't mean emergency operations), but it's a different discussion. Anyways, I know our natal chart is given to us when we are born. It shows our basic traits, struggles, and may even influence the way we look. What about those people, who were born during a scheduled for 09:00 c-section? What if mother is familiar with astrology, and decides to have an operation at 15:00, so Sun will conjunct MC, for example.I'm just rambling Ami AnneI had both--one of each. I would never, ever, ever think someone should have a C sec, other than emergency. It is totally against God's natural way of having children. If you violate God's rules, things happen, which are not good. In this case, there are many possibilities, which one has to do endure when it is an emergency.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/ail221It happens I know a lot of astro mothers put in a ridiculous amount of effort in conception at very specific times to achieve certain sun/moon signs.Aunt AnomaliaIf I wanted a crotchfruit I'd most likely choose c-section and yes, astrology would be an important factor in scheduling. I like the idea of human genetic engineering so this seems like the obvious way to go ------------------Anomaling around since 1911.SoltzeGauquelin actually mentions that when a child choses when to be born by triggering the birth through a hormone it secreets and that the charts of those born of c-section don't correspond to the person. Well...it might be nonsense but I wouldn't risk it.Anyway I wish the best for you and your little one :-))Aunt Anomalia quote:Anyway I wish the best for you and your little one :-))If this was for me then thanks but there will be no apple Anyway, shouldn't the soul of my hypothetical child know that their future mommy is Miss Frankenstein and adjust to it?------------------Anomaling around since 1911.florence quote:Originally posted by Liliya:~ I don't mean emergency c-sections ~Sorry, I don't have an exact theory or anything, just thought about it the other day So many thoughts, but it feels like jibberish in my head, and I'm struggling to summarise (hello, Saturn in 3rd). What if mother is familiar with astrology, and decides to have an operation at 15:00, so Sun will conjunct MC, for example.I'm just rambling Before opening this thread I was wondering if this predominance of c-section would show in the usa astro chart - my perception is this country has v high c-section. Suppose it would make sense only in a progressed chart, tho?I wouldn't have liked an arranged date thinking it would mess with natural dates but I suppose if you roll back fate and destiny far enough it would determine even an appointment too. One of best reasons I think for natural birth is the euphoria/relief after labour which prepares for looking after a baby. LiliyaEven though "planning" seems quite fascinating, especially the idea that you can plan a preferred Moon, houses, sometimes even Sun sign, natural course of events seems more right. I feel like baby deserves to choose for itself when to come out and what chart to have But I understand why other people may plan, though. It's more efficient, especially if there is a lack of doctors, who have experience with natural birth, like it is in a country I live in atm. There are many other factors, such as transportation (taxis mostly refuse to bring women to hospital during labour), working partners, having other young children... I'd like to meet an astrologers c-section baby some day to see if he/she has lived up to their parents expectations LiliyaAgain, I don't mean emergency operations. I know people who were born this way, and if c-section wasn't performed, these people wouldn't be here.bluestskies88That's pretty scary to infest a mandatory c-section on my mom and child. I feel it's so un-natural.Like what Ami said, it's going againt's Gods will. In my personal perspective, C-section should just be done when it's an emergency.FaithI've never had a c-section because I'm afraid of doctors and hospitals more than I am afraid of mind-blowing, excruciating pain. Jupiter ruling my 5H helped. So now I have the satisfaction of seeing how amazing my kids' charts are, without any planning. Ami AnneI am the same as you with the fear of doctors.
