T O P I C R E V I E WSolar_Leo_QueenHello to everyone who is and who knows people who have strong Gemini influences Whether you or someone you know has Gemini rising, sun, moon, etc., I would like to hear your experiences and opinions about us Gemini-influenced people. My ascendant is in Gemini and I have read about this sign having split or multiple personalities. I never believed it because I didn't see how I had two or more personalities. But then, yesterday, my twin friends (heh, what a weird pun lol) said something about me having two personalities. They said it was because I used a preferred name other than my real name and also because sometimes, I act differently based on which name people call me with. I never gave it much thought until last night, but I have found it to be somewhat true.Earlier this morning, I was blasting alternative rock music and now I'm currently listening to chill R&B love songs. This just made me realize my friends were right after all LOL Have any of you guys been told you have split or multiple personalities in real life? Or if you're friends or know someone who is a Gemini, do you notice this in them?------------------Gemini RisingSun in Leo (2nd house) Moon in Cancer (1st house) Mercury in Virgo (3rd house conj.)Venus in Virgo (3rd house)Mars in Libra (5th house)"You were born a lion. Don't die a sheep." ~ Leos ♌️Lunar PiscesPuh-leeze. Having varied moods or varied tastes in music hardly qualifies as having a split personality. RANTI'm HEAVY Gem/Mercury. HEAVY. I'm multifaceted, and can have a wide spectrum of moods and interests, but I'm hardly "split". That stereotype really annoys me. It's like persons accusing me (or other Gems) of that only want us to be some narrow idea of a person that they are used to, and so if we do anything different from THEIR expectations, we're being abnormal. No. It's them, projecting their narrow perceptions on us. People with heavy Gem or Merc will naturally be more curious and eager to learn and acquire knowledge, and thus be more broadminded and more interested in having broader experiences. That will in turn make us more complex and multifaceted than less curious people. Other people need to come to understand this about us, rather than try to label us and accuse us of being unstable or irregular. My simple advice is: DO NOT LET THE DULLMINDED AND INCURIOUS DEFINE YOU! EVER!!!Everything you experience is YOU. It is a valid part of of who you are, regardless of others' perceptions. Be proud to be a broadminded, complex and expansive individual! That is your Gem/Merc strength!!! If they don't have a broad enough mind to see that, that's THEIR problem. Don't let them project it onto you and never, ever incorporate such projections into your own sense of self./RANTJust my two cents...StubbornVirgoGemini Moon & Mars here.I have a very serious side to my personality. Nose-to-the-grindstone, everything by the book, straight As only type of person. (Triple Virgo, 3 planets in Capricorn too.)But I also have a childish, mischievous, funny side that comes out at rather unexpected times. I talk to myself while I'm doing stuff, and that's when other people notice it. I'll be rambling or complaining about something and then I flip the switch and start making little jokes about myself or the situation, except I'm just talking to myself so I don't notice it all. I'm usually being completely serious so it always amuses me when other people start crying because they're laughing so hard. I'll make myself laugh only if my brain makes that imaginative little leap, where my mind enters this weird little space and an amusing situation becoming something really funny and straight out of a cartoon or comedy. THEN I have a hard time keeping my face straight. Sometimes that happens at the wrong time and I end up making myself giggle in public - I'm sure other people think I'm totally insane when they see this. But I'm not! I'm just a Gemini Moon. Edit: I mean my reply in a very light-hearted way, if that wasn't apparent from the subject matter. It's not meant to offend any Gemini people, just my perspective of my Gemini influences and how I see them play out in my personality. DreaminessIn my experience one minute they are your best friend and then the next minute they can pretend not to see you when they see you at the mall or wherever they are hahaha. What is up with that, is the ignoring part a form of being "hard to get" or something hahaha? DopGangI'm not sure if it's split personalities or one personality that lives life in 30 second cycles. moonlight swanI don't have any gemini in my chart but I have a lot of gemini friends and I also don't like this outlook on geminis. In my opinion we all have multiple personalities and it is naturally to act different around certain people, say you have your true self that you are when you are alone, yourself with your family and then yourself with your friends and also strangers. So I think it can be said that we all have multiple personalities. There are times when one must be professional and times when one can let go and have fun. They do have a playful side and a serious but don't we all?Mars/Pluto EmperorWell I have a Gemini Midheaven, and I can tell you the midheaven influences someone more than I thought. People tell me I have a reputation for being clever and quick/minded,also that I tend to be very good with convincing others. Though I have a Capricorn sun,Cancer moon, and Virgo As to keep me well grounded when it comes to what I want.I believe the midheaven are skills to use,so I think I have Gemini skills to accomplish my ambitions. Plus I got a mercury trine MC,so bonus points there lolSoltzeI change moods a lot and think fast. I wouldn't seriously define it as split personality. Sometimes I surprise myself but I think it's like my mind and emotions are working on different speeds.I love learning new things...I always need a project to keep me going.Mercury/Sun/Jupiter in Gemini. All my chart angles are in mutable signs LOOL. Can't get more mercurial than that.ikjaI definitely have contradicting tastes - especially when it comes to music.I'll listen to linkin park one minute, then listen to reggae. Once I'm done with that, I'll listen to Years and Years and then move on to some traditional African music. Then I may switch to some Avicii and switch back to Drake. I've got a soft spot for ALL types of music.I also like watching quiz shows, reality tv, news, crime shows, documentaries, soaps etc. I have varied tastes when it comes to entertainment. I thought I was the only one who talks to myself when I'm doing things (and when I'm alone, too). Wild HorsesI get that a lot. It's human nature to want to label things, and Geminis or people that have strong Mercury in their charts are very hard to label. We are very Mercurial and are natural shape-shifters. People often think it's because we are being fake, but it's usually that we are just extremely flexible and mutable. We can react rapid-fire to almost any situation and adapt almost instantaneously. We just have a very adaptable nature.I've noticed people with a lot of fixed energy in their charts have the hardest time "getting" us. My husband has a 2nd house Sun-Venus-Mars in Scorpio very tightly squaring an 11th house Leo Moon. His Mercury is also in his 2nd house. He is FIXED energy personified. I am mutable and cardinal energy personified. He's constantly shaking his head at me. He has trouble getting me. Some of our arguments get so ridiculous that we literally end up laughing our heads off going, "What in the world are we even arguing about?"Orangei have heard this before, quite often actually, , from people who know nothing about astrology but who know me well. I dont see how, but I guess it is what they see in me. I tend to change my mind too. For example, the other day I decided to go to Target to buy some stuff. On my way there, I changed my mind and decided I'd rather go shopping in the Mall instead. As I was shopping around, I passed by a movie theater and decided to go see a movie The Martian. Called a friend and she came asap, so I ended up spending about 5 hours away from home instead of the planned 30 min in target....in sweatpants and flip flops.Gemini Moon, an out of bond Moon, and heavy Mercury in my chart.RoseLilyGemini sun here and here's my two cents (brace the wall of text)I like comparing people with puzzles. All made from numerous pieces closely imbricated together to form a picture representing the personality. Now, many people have many different sort of puzzles, small, big, from a lot of pieces to close to none and the final picture always being a different one. Yet, all of those people are made of the same "Jigsaw" puzzle, the pieces are, somehow, related to each other bare certain differences, but overall, you can stil l recognize the pieces between each other. A person suffering with Dissociative Personality Disorder would be like having two puzzles (or more) inside of one. Some pieces are rogue and doesn't fit AT ALL, since they come from a whole different puzzle, and, sometimes, the whole picture change into something else because of certain triggers. However, my own opinion of Geminis (or mutable signs in general) (without sounding like they are so different from other, since it isn't true, but still) are a whole new type of puzzle. have you ever played Jigzone? They are puzzles, made with shapes representing the word "Jigzone" Part of the Z, of the O, or even the E can be seen in these sort of puzzle and they can be very disconcerting to others. So much that you can't even believe that they'd fit together. You interpret those pieces as "rogue ones" because they are so different from others.Yet, they all fit into the puzzle, they all have their places, it's just that they represent how different and how versatile the whole picture of a gemin is. It's not made of similarly shaped pieces, but of a whole mess of shapes and form that still makes sense when imbricated together. It's just that their puzzle is extremely scattered as far as ressemblance goes and they make for very different and versatile people. You don't have two puzzles in your head because your own is varied, it's just that one piece can be the striking opposite of the other. But it is still one puzzle. You are still one person. What's interesting is if I'm adapted for another group of people (which often includes dressing the part, for the same reason one dresses the part when going to church or the office), then others I know from "different groups" won't recognize me unless I bring it to their attention that it's me! And some people do get distressed when I can't be easily classified, as it makes me a cipher, unknown and thus threatening. Gemini BluesI have 31 flavors. It's not my problem if you only see vanilla and chocolate. If you're perceptive enough, you'll see maybe half of them.hearttreasureI've known several gemini moon, the two close people I've ever encounter is ex (also gem venus) and my bestfriend. Nope, I don't see they have split personalities, but restless and love variety, YES, boredom is dead penalty and you can see they're gone in the blink of an eye.I've known several gemini sun, but the one I close with is my bf, I would say the adaptability if I admire him in social matter and multi-personality (wouldn't say split) if I feel annoyed to his negative behaviors. bansheequeenGeminis are always themselves. But they can only express one part of themselves at a time. Also mutable suns are very easy flowing and have very expansive all encompassing personalities. Just like mutable moons have easy flowing all encompassing emotions. That might lead others to believe that there are many sides to that person, when the mutable person is just being... mutable.Gemini BluesIf you put a Gemini's personality in a box, you can't determine the state its in until you open it. The act of observing it changes it.Also, if you put a Gemini's personality in a box, it will get really bored and lonely...
