It is a very deep bond, and there is an immense amount of caring present, but we do not always "get along" in the every day sense. It has been a tumultuous, tense and distant relationship at times. My mom deals with a lot issues of her own though - manipulation, control to name a couple - stemming from her own "daddy issues" which she projects onto other people. She was very emotionally abusive to my brother and I growing up but as an adult I see the situation more clearly now. I have a high degree of empathy for her despite what I've gone through. Complicated you see!My Dad was/is present for everything, but is a rather passive person and "stayed out of it" unless intervention was necessary. Never knew my dad as a result of a divorce, but he had Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Libra and Pisces Moon, which is why my mom says she sees a lot of him in me (I have Moon in Scorpio and Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Gemini), from his DOB on my birth certificate. That also may account for my clashes with my mom (Aries Sun/Mercury with Moon conjunct Mars in Capricorn, squaring each other, which makes her temper worse than most Aries, though technically I should be compatible with her as my Sun sextiles hers and my Moon and Mars sextile hers), along with the Pluto and Neptune incompatibilities (my biological dad also had Pluto Leo and Neptune Libra like my mom). She doesn't understand my deep emotions (Moon in Scorpio alone is sensitive enough, but conjunct Pluto makes it worse, yet nobody else makes me erupt like that), and doesn't believe in stuff like Indigo children, despite me having nearly every characteristic (I can see through the values of the Boomers for example and know that a system that's in everyone's best interests and isn't solely to make the rich richer is needed). Quite the challenge.KoniuchaI have both, I'm sure. I have an unaspected SUN and moon square Pluto. TensionEmpireyea, quite a challange, i have turned 26 now and it has just begun, i wonder if it has to do with my saturn return coming up. scorpio moons tend to have storys with theyr mothers, can't remember a man i know with this placement only women.i have pieces moon and cancer sun opp my IC. so also a bond with my mother, also recem lingmirage29Hi FatedCindy ...In your 20's you go through a formula of transits designed to liberate you from your parents. There's a 3/4 square of Saturn squaring Saturn. It's called "Individuation."Reminds me of gardening... Ever have to separate perennials that have reproduced and hold together tightly in a crowded-cluster? You have to get two gardening forks, back to back, then like using a lever, you separate the bunch apart, creating lots of separated roots and stems, for replanting. Maybe you can keep them in the same bed or row, but with greater space and growing-room between them. (attitude between you and parents)You begin the uneasiness to separate yourself from them, and, from their clumpy bed (house). You also get to sort and fork-separate yourself from childhood and teenage friends... in favor of future college and business associates. It's hard to leave 'what is known'? It's not intended as "mean" (I hope)... it's just the ripping process is a bit uncomfortable--- especially if your parents didn't ingrain in you a sense to prepare for independence-- from time of your youngest years and through the growing up teen years.mom and dad ... fork 1you ........... fork 2and restlessness and crowded feeling starts ... and you both chafe and begin the pulling away process... It's a natural thing.haha... I was going to find a vid of my fork-method of dividing perennials in the garden, but the ones I found used shovels pretty violently! ... My mars squares my mothers moon
My Saturn opp. the Moon of my Father.
My Dad was/is present for everything, but is a rather passive person and "stayed out of it" unless intervention was necessary. My relationship with him is fine.

But the thing is he didn't deserve any of those mean thoughtsHe was just going through something his business wasn't doing well sod he was depressed and decided to kind of cruise through life not really paying much attention to his children sort of neglecting them
He still showed up for dinner and worked but he didn't really go out of his way to make an effort
My mom on the other hand went above and beyond she was a friend and a role model she helped if you needed it she was both parents basicallyI haven't moved out yet I'm 21 and I'm mature for my age by far but living with my parents still I have learned to appreciate my dad and not hate him anymore and become more tolerant of him
Which is good
