Do you know Hebrew and Greek. I went to Hebrew School when I was a child. I HATED it. I begged my mother to let me out of it and she did. Now, I wish I had stayed as you always do with these things.As an adult, I was being tutored in Hebrew by an Israeli and I loved it! Arnold Fructenbaum has a Masters in Hebrew and Greek. This is just me and the years I have studied the Bible, not new research.Israel is called God's wife. He "married" her and she has the position of God's wife, which is an exalted position. She disobeyed( which God foreknew and was part of God's plan to include the Gentiles as if she had not, in theory, the Gentiles could not be saved)At any rate, when she disobeyed time and time again, God divorced her. That allowed God to get a new wife--the Bride i.e the Church made up of Gentiles and the remnant( saved Jews in the Age of Grace, the Age of the Gentiles.So, Israel was divorced but that is where the Jew haters like to leave it and it can't be left there as the Tribulation is an outreach to Israel and the Jews, once more.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. The remnant are saved and so are in the church They are not really special, per se. In the Trib and the Millenium, the remnant may have certain, special duties.
