I took the meaning of enringing as en-circling, e.i. making a 'ring' around it... encompass.
Since I thought it was a poem about her marriage, I associated the 'ringing' as reminiscent of the sacred 'exchange of bands' (bands, meaning rings) that happens in the wedding ceremony ritual.
The ring is symbolic of a promise, as in giving one's Heart to the other....
In most ceremonies, the ring is placed on what's called the ring-finger. There's a vein in that finger leading straight to the Heart...
(Not fact-checked, but, something that impressed me in a lecture I heard.
I thought it was related to palmistry, but when I checked, I was wrong.)
It is also a weak and most-vulnerable finger on the hand? -- thereby saying, we are vulnerable to each other, soft, giving, encircling (the finger as a reminder) to be Caring for each other's heart. Bond-servants in support to and of one another.
