T O P I C R E V I E WAmonuetACT I -SUNSAILS All the silver-lings, on the torn pages,of our bittersweet chapters.I hear a knock,at this luminary door.I know your hands are thirsty, are you ready to board? Is it 69 days, or years?I ponder, does it matter -with cold dirt on your ears?Oh, these fleshy casts -our spirits hung!Oh, is all lost?As we sail across the Rising sun? AyeletWelcome, Amonuet! It's great to have a new voice in this forum. I loved reading your poem. By the way, what did you mean by 69 days or years?AmonuetGood evening Aveylet!Thank you so much for the welcome! It has been a long time since I have shared any of my writing, especially my poetry haha. 69 days, or years? That is a good question haha. Perhaps I get lost in time, still feeling the remnants of other past lives echoing out into this one? The number is an intimate reoccurring theme for me.AyeletYou're welcome. I'm glad you share it. So, I see the number 69 has a personal connotation to it. And you cannot really decipher it from the poem itself. So it's almost like an intimate signature of sorts.PearltyWelcome, welcome, welcome..
