T O P I C R E V I E Wdouble trouble geminihi i like to know does anyone use multivitamins or supplements, what brand is good in terms of 1- keeping a balance between the RDA allowance.2- contains all essential vitamins and minerals.3-contains no harmful ingredients or artificial color/coating etc.the reason i ask is because my friends nutritionist/fitness instructor has recommended a multivitamin tablet to my friend that exceeds the RDA dosage limits and contains some artificial stuff as well, when i argued with the nutritionist he told me that was the best and safest brand in the market... i told my freind to wait while i do some research and ask more people around.pls reply.loeHI!I recommend SOLGAR female multivitamins. They advice you to take three of them a day, but it s enough with two. You should also take an extra 1000 mg calcium, wich you also can purchase from SOLGAR. They don t contain unnatural stuff and are suitable for vegans. 100 % safe and very valuable.GeminiLover75I've had the Solgar brand Calcium/Magnesium/Boron recommended to me and I've tried it, and it is a very good brand. In place of a multivitamin, I've always taken Spirulina because if you take enough of it you can get a very decent amount of the B vitamins, iron and protein, as well as calcium. The Lifestream brand is organic, and spirulina is easily absorbed. The only drawback is that it doesn't contain enough vitamin C, so I take that as a separate supplement. When I'm taking my spirulina, my energy levels go up, my iron levels get really good (I naturally tend towards low iron/anaemia), and my hair and nails grow really fast! It's all natural and suitable for vegans.
