I thoroughly recommend that you check out the difference in calcium supplements because just like spirulina vs synthetic iron supplement, they are not all easily digestible by the body so something like Lifestream or ocean milk would be the way to go.Sorry I have gone on & on about it but I'm so passionate about not being ripped of with these things. TJ's Steamed & Peeled Beets are ready to just open and eat, either cold or warmed. These beets, exactly the same product and preparation as you would find at a farmer's market in France are in fact produced for us in France. The beet, a vegetable which usually requires somewhat lengthy (and messy) preparation, is now ready to go and just as healthy and delicious as if you cooked it yourself. Absolutely nothing has been added to these beets. Take care when opening the inner package! The juice stains.
I've been eating these cold with garlic Hummus and omg, delicious. And I'm sure to pair it with some EmergenC
Makes a great snack or light meal.
