My dad is a psychologist that practices EFT...it seems to help a lot of people. People with a lot of baggage from many years often rooting in childhood are the ones that seem to benefit the most but he did try it on my husband with his mother issues and after this he saw his mom one more time and never again. Before my dad did EFT on him he would see his mom bc he felt he had to, out of commitment. After EFT he has had the courage of actually not seeing her again. Before EFT he would talk a lot about how he just doesn't want to see her again but would still keep doing it out of commitment but he never felt good before, during and after.
My dad did EFT on me bc I couldn't fully let go of my ex and after doing EFT therapy with him I no longer felt in love with my ex and when I saw him again the chemistry was there still but my heart was not there, ETF did made me finally let go after many many years of that karmic relationship.
My story and husband's story though don't' compare to other stories of clients my dad has helped. I think there is something to it but you have to want to heal and let go as my husband is not the forgiving type so the therapy was not as effective with him bc he is a skeptic and there was resistance but none the less it still did work to some extent on him, it worked on him in a way that fits his personality.
