Lexxigramer | I sure needed this today. Cannot sleep; too much pain and other scary issues at the moment; so afraid to try and sleep. Have Epipens to ram emergency meds by injection; but still scared. Been dangerously ill and in and out of the ER, hospital, doctors, etc etc etc etc etc for months and today was a nightmare...a stupid CT tech tried to murder me by injecting me via IV with a drug known to be potentially fatal to me! It was even on my chart to never give it to me! Not kidding. Thank you all for reminding me to laugh, or at least try to. |
HRH-FishAreFish | Hahaha... Good one!...thanks! ------------------ Got the Wings of Heaven on my Shoes. I'm a dancin man and I just can't lose. You know it's all right. Its ok. Ellynlvx | Oh my gosh, I didn't see this. That's horrible. I hate hospitals. |
Ayelet | Hello Lexx, that is funny! I am so sorry to hear about your health problems. I wish all the bad will go away! As your true joke say! And may you be well for all time and beyond! |

I just have to live with these things which there is no known cure for; and just try to slow the degeneration down and all. Thank you for caring.

Ayelet | May you have many bright and cheerful, happy moments so it will be easier...

We've glitched-out a few posts together about THAT in the past! (With hippichick too!) Wish they'd learn to "PRACTICE" on someone else!!! No more newbies! No more half-educated guesses.... grrrrrrr Sorry I didn't know you were having to deal with this stuff again..... Be Well, Lexxigrammer! Yeah the doctors are practicing; but the ones who have nearly killed me are nurses and technicians. There may be some good nurses and technicians but to date most I have encountered in real life are too often screw-ups (giving wrong meds or injecting wrong dosages) or unsanitary (long nasty fingernails, not using gloves or washing hands)or nasty (rude and angry when I say I am unable to get on a high table without help. Angry because I cannot move my arms in positions they want and them dislocating joints when they force me into positions I am not able to do.) Oh well. Just have to keep hanging on and avoid medical staff who are screw-ups. Should not have to monitor them though. You said: quote: Sorry I didn't know you were having to deal with this stuff again.....
Sigh, it is not just again but has been ongoing and getting worse steadily and then faster the past 2 years. Off to another doctor this afternoon. Lots of doctors/tests and all to come. It is so damn exhausting and depressing. Want some good news. Sigh.................. Thank you for the kindness and caring. |
Lexxigramer | Today's adventure. My husband drove me to our to chiropractor then on the way home, a front tire decided to do this at 70mph on the 4 lane freeway. Freaking scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are both disabled so could not change the spare ourselves. Thank you AAA roadside service - We never had to get out of the car. Which is probably good because not sure our walking canes would play nice with the jack. We got lucky we did not wreck or roll...........whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
rajji | Oh my god!!How did that happen lexx?? Looks disastrous!Thankfully you two came out safe. |

Still trembling over it. All our tires are threadbare and about ready to blow. It would take about 2/3 our monthly income to replace them all. (but we have to.....somehow) Also found out the right side of the floor in back has totally rusted through. The exhaust is starting to break too. We need to have a car; but are lost on how we can manage all this. Sigh; and yes we are very grateful we were only shaken/stressed and not injured. I was so afraid it could have pushed my husband into one of his seizures. Fortunately he did not have an episode. So now we must find a way to afford to fix our 14 year old car or get another one. We have no other way to get to doctors, drug store, grocery shopping and so forth. Big freaking exasperated feeling lost sigh.............

rajji | Lexx just don't panic. Everthing will be fine. Don't loose your hope. |

Thank Heaven for AAA. This Just Sucks. Do they have some sort of shuttle service that is somehow covered for you both? |
mirage29 | Just so surreal, Lexxigramer-- !! Glad you're both STILL okay! You know, this makes me sorta sit back and take a meta view of the whole thing. You have a magic kind of 'protective' hedge preserving you through all this... haha, you can haul-back and say 'heck' at all of it, for "YOU" are still alive! *lightning, neighing-snort of wild horses* With cane-n-all, you can shake your stick around in the air and say, HA! gotcha, 'cause I'm STILL here! Take THAT-- ! May tragedy FAINT when it knocks-- and finds YOU primped, and standing there 'ready'!! with a sordid grin upon your Face!... LOL Not thanking heaven for AAA; but definitely thanking my husband for signing up for AAA roadside service coverage and keeping a cellphone with him. Glad it was not a too cold or hot day too. Shuttle? Like what are you referring to? I think there is a bus but it does not go out of this town. Taxi is too expensive. |
