T O P I C R E V I E WJourney_of_GeminiI've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for a little over a year and a half. Our relationship is kinda unstable because we have Venus square Uranus in our synastry and Venus opp. Uranus in our composite as well as Sun opp. Uranus. I just would like some opinions on our composite chart. Do we have a good one? Is it worth hanging on for the ride? I'm in so deeply in love with him and I'm really want things to work. I would greatly appreciate it! CHART POSTED BELOW. BelageBy the way, when I clicked on the link, it says it has expired.Anyway, even without looking at your chart, I can tell you with all my accumulated knowledge and that of others, that Venus square or opposite Uranus relationships (synatry or composite) do not last. They usually start out of the blue hot and heavy, then then petter out and suddenly end. You yourself said it's unstable, and I am surprised you've been hanging on for 1 year and a half. That's a record. I bet it's been like a roller coaster, like being on a bungee cord. Sorry, I wish I had better news for you. If I want a long lasting committed relationship, I avoid Venus square/opposite Uranus like the plague. However, if you want to have open relationships with each person experimenting on the side, you might be able to stay together for a long time. Kannon McAfeeIf you are new to astrology, I suggest sticking with birth charts to understand yourself first, and others. If you want responses to your composite, take the image uploaded to photobucket, or any other online image storage location, copy the link and paste it here between these: , that way it won't expire at its original location.------------------ The Declinations GuyComplete Rising Sign DescriptionsllewsacmPost the chart using tinypic and lets have a look. One aspect doesn't make or break a relationship. Kannon McAfeeMight as well re-post it in Interpersonal astrology. Its going to get moved anyway.------------------ The Declinations GuyComplete Rising Sign DescriptionsRandallMoving it there. I was trying to see if we had any aspects to balance the energy out. Such as the Sun trine Saturn and Pluto. I would greatly appreciate your opinion! Journey_of_GeminiAnyone else? I'm all open for opinions! I just want to know if this has a potential for long term and is it worth the effort. starxdYou have a water Grand Trine between Sun, Jupiter & Saturn in houses 5-8-12. I've read a Grand Trine between 4-8-12 could point to telepathic or psychic connection. And you have a love stellium in 5H. But so much of it opposes Uranus and Neptune. Those planets can be interpreted so differently. Excitement and dreaminess. Or Rollercoaster and confusion. Maybe both. But sounds like you are describing the latter. And I'm a n00b anyways. As far as aspects though, the only thing that hits me in the face is the passionate Venus - Mars conjunction. In the end, you're the only one who knows. You have soooooo much time ahead of you to find someone who makes you feel good most of the time and not some of the time. Whatever happens, remember that you deserve to be loved and you are enough. And don't forget to take care of yourself. llewsacmThe grand water trine is nice...ascendant in water sign as well...good energy flow with that trine. The placement of the planets in the 5th house should make the relationship feel light and fun.I'm not concerned so much about the Venus opp Uranus here. I had it with my ex of 18 years in our composite. Do what feels right here. I agree you have plenty of time to explore relationships, but enjoy whatever you two have here. If it ends up not being long term, you can certainly take what you have learned and apply it going forward. You may want to check out the other posts about comparing the composite to the natal aspects, it would be helpful in your learning process. Most sites that generate the composite don't have the midpoint dates. llewsacm http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/003704.html Here's a recent link to one of the discussions re comparing natals to composite. Also, if you are looking to compare natal midpoints, Astro allows you to print out a grid under the data sheet option. Print one for each natal and manually compare positions. starxdGood to hear about your experience with Uranian energy, llewsacm. Reading all the negative accounts here always made me a bit nervous, because Uranus is pretty active in my natal chart and rules my Venus. I've seen the challenging affects of it, but I've also noticed that I often end up in relationships that seem normal enough - they're just nontraditional in the sense that they're interracial. It seems like people discount the whole "unique" thing with Uranian energy in synastry. toddhi Journeyyou already have your finger on one aspect of the difficulty in this composite. Uranus opposed to the venus/sun midpoint does give an immediate electricity and an intense sexually/emotional connection. Uranus often adds a psychic/astral feel d so t hat you feel there is a soulmate connection. but Uranus is not a planet of stability or commitment once the intial fire dims, Uranus quickly turns away. Uranus relationships are like a comet, they burst quickly into your life, intense and electric but then also like a comet they fade quickly into the night.you are setting yourself up for a emotional fall because you cannot keep the uranian intensity alive once it has played out. as other's have suggest, take this relationship for the moment but do not plan future around it.a dynamic of difficulty is that there is at tsquare of Saturn opposed to chiron and square the moon. this is a polar opposite to the Uranus dynamic. this aspect shows emotional distance and isolation. just a Uranus is a upper, this dynamic is a downer, which means that the relationship will /has always been either heaven or hell, either intensely loving and complete or cold ,despondent and isolated.these dynamics are complicated again because the Pluto/Jupiter conjunction is trine to the venus/sun conjunction and sextile to Uranus. this pattern by itself can be very fortunate for a relationship because it combines love and support of each other. but trine dynamic in composites do not have the power to negate the force of hard aspects such as the Saturn/Chiron opposition.again live the moment with him but do not waste your energy trying to make something transient into something permanent. the sun/moon midpoint is at 1cancer57 and the uranus/Jupiter midpoint is at 26sag 13. the transiting node has been moving through this opposition from early September until middle December . this shows that the discord between you started in September and will likely lead to a complete break up just before Christmas.todd Journey_of_Gemini quote:Originally posted by todd:hi Journeyyou already have your finger on one aspect of the difficulty in this composite. I appericate your input. And it's crazy because we have been experiencing problems (well from him) since the beginning of September. I've tried hard to deal with uranuian energy and I simply can't. He has venus/Uranus square in his natal as well as venus/neptune. I just recently ended because I can't handle the emotional ups and downs. Especially with my Venus in Taurus. Even though, I ended it, it doesn't feel completely over. But I'll bring my mind to it to save anymore further pain. Thank you.
