Hello All! Since I have discovered Linda and this wonderful website I have started to become obsessed with Lexigramming. I know that there are basic principle rules/ some dos and donts, what I am really hoping for is a bit of guidance/feedback when it comes to composing poetry through the magic of Lexigram!
I have been working on this poem for this person that I love with a fever. Below are the letters of his full name (first middle and last), I do not want to actually write his name down for privacy reasons. So I just compiled the letters in his name, they are as following:
CEEEEHIIKLLNNOPRRSTVW
If its easier here they are as vowels/consonants:
EEEEIIO / CHKLLNNPRRSTVW
Below is a poem I am workin on and all I want to know from you wonderful advanced Lexigram masters, is if I am doing this right? Am I using the correct format? Is there any tips or tricks when composing? can you spot any critical mistakes?? I know there are a couple words that are not spelt correct however I have not added any letters that aren’t in his name, just rearranged the spelling until I can find another correct word to use in its place. Exmaple PHIRE=FIRE since he doesn’t have an F in his name.
Anyways I would LOVE to know what your thoughts are...please go easy on me I am a newbie:
CEEEEHIIKLLNNOPRRSTVW
OH! HOW SHE’LL COVET HIS LOVE!
HIS LIPS SWEET LIKE KIWI
HIS SKIN TWINKLES LIKE PERIWINKLE IN WINTER
NO ONE WILL EVER OVERTHROW HIM
ON HER THRONE OF LOVE.
SHE HOPES HE KNOWS THIS...
IT IS SHE WHO THROWS HIM THE PEN
TO NOTE THEIR LOVERS LORE
HE RE-WRITES THE SCRIPT OVER N OVER
IN HER VIEW,
HE IS THE STOIC HERO,
LION LIKE, ERECT.
ELECTRIC AND RECEPTIVE
THO SHE IS INCLINED TO THINK HIM EVIL
LIKE HE IS THE INNKEEPER OF HELL
SHE, HIS KEEN CLIENT THROWS HIM
THREE PENCE PER WEEK
IT IS THE TOLL SHE RENTS
TO LIVE IN HIS PHIRE HOTEL
IT WILL SLOWLY KILL HER,
LIKE NICOTINE IN HER VEINS.
HOWEVER, SHE KEEPS STILL
FOR CENTILLION EONS
SHE’LL SEETH IN HIS LOVE
HE WILL NEVER EVICT HER.
