Are there any alternatives to medications that you can use for AD/HD? I believe in neurodiversity, and so I don't really view it as a disorder.
I have AD/HD myself, and a psychiatrist even said that I could use a little bit of Ritalin in 2006. I told that I don't want to use any medication. I told her about Omega 3 fatty acids and their connection to neurodivergent conditions. I took cod liver oil or fish oil.
Since being a lacto ovo vegetarian, I only take algae oil capsules for my Omega 3 fatty acid DHA intake.
I think of AD/HD as a genetic evolutionary trait. DRD4 7R gene is novelty seeking gene dated back between 10,000 and 40,000 years, and is connected to half of ADHD cases.
Thom Hartmann calls it "The Edison Gene" ,and he wrote books about it. Mainstream School didn't work for Thomas Edison who was homeschooled by his school teacher ,mother.
There are a lot of Thomas Edison-types that the mainstream school systems has failed.
