T O P I C R E V I E Wkatatonicnot a philosophy post but i am confused! i swear this was one of my boyfriends' favourite book. trouble is i broke up with him and left the area we lived in together well before 1974, which is apparently the copyright date!does anyone else know of an earlier edition???? or am i mixing up boyfriends now?Randall*bump*hippichickIt was my ex bfriend's fav book, too. I only know of one edition. Will look around my house when I get time, it possbily escaped my fury when I packed his stuff t~~Randall LEXXIs it worth reading?katatonicvery, lexx. though it is by and about a genius who went mad chasing an ideal...and who is into motorcycles (as the title suggests) so there are some very long involved and sometimes technical/philosophical passages...if written in 74, it was about 67, by someone who was already 40ish then and perhaps a precursor of the 60s intellectually. but it is also a very human book. and perhaps more relevant today than then, like a good book should be!and i came across it just as i was going through some of the dilemmas he is talking about, so extra good for me..
