T O P I C R E V I E WhannaramaaDo you read the cards together or individually (Cards 7 through 10) in the Celtic Cross? For some reason I find it hard reading them together, like adding onto one another but I would like to get better at it. Any tips? For this one reading about someone's love life in general I got 6 of SwordsThe LoversQueen of Wands8 of Wands / Page of Wands (I always draw an 11th card as a clarifier. Plus I just like the number 11. ) She's currently going through a separation from her husband at this time, but is basically single. I said the 6 of Swords meant she needs to take a break, give her mind a break, and let other people take care of her. Would the next three cards insinuate meeting someone she clicks with instantly?Love&LightHanna, i think the Lovers is for a choice she will have to make in this regard after she has moved away/back from this relationship. The next court card denotes the personality of the person she ought to choose or will go for depending on what sort of question you have asked the tarot. It could also show her attitude after the moving away. Strong, fire like, etc in connection to this aspect of her life (She need not be basically that way). That depends on what you have exactly asked while laying the cards. And finally 8 of wands is the fast movement in this direction. Some message etc connected with it. Page of wands only confirms this. She will come up with some creative, adventurous ideas after this. It will be in the bud stage. Just my 2 cents. What came to me immediately. I hope some expert chips in.TwirlHi Hannah I read the cards seperately and apply their meanings on the initial question and the first 6 cards. Also because I use them as 'extra information' cards & I put emotions on position 7 + 9. I agree much with what Love&light says. 8 of wands probably points out to it coming to a quick ending + page wands (as freedom/starting over). Just my initial thought. Many other possibilities. Lovers also roughly points out that is what she wishes. If you want to look at the deeper meanings, you can take in the symbols, suits, colours & numbers of all the cards & see if that tells you more. Hope this helps. Would the next three cards insinuate meeting someone she clicks with instantly?Hi Hanna,Position no. 7 is all about the current state of the person/general evolutionary vector. She is pretty immersed in the process of moving away from her husband, this is as much as can be understood from this position alone. I wonder if it's just moving for the sake of the moving though. With the QoW in the 9th apparently she lacks confidence/self-sufficiency, at any rate to the extent she wishes she possessed those qualities. Fiery energy is what she longs for, just being someone dashing and dazzling. Is she working on it? It would be a massive mistake to read this as the other woman, especially not in the 9th. The Lovers in the 8th - gee, this one is not awesome Like everyone around her seems to be in happy relationships, feeling fulfilled and whatnot, which results in aggravation and resentment to some extent or other (the why-not-me part, I don't really know how strong it is). The outcome... Kinda nice though, just by the look of it. New prospects plus this fiery young man.... Perhaps a bit too young, depending on what she looks for. Not the provider, but defo cool and interesting. I wonder... what's in the 3rd (i usually have that above 1 and 2), for best outcome? the 3rd together with the 10th sometimes sheds loads of lightHave you read about the Ouroboros spread? It is used to delve into an existing CC and shed additional light, sometimes helps very muchhannaramaa quote:Originally posted by EmpressMendez:Are they separating due to another woman interfering in the marriage? No, surprisingly... I know that's a really common reason for divorce among finances.hannaramaa"Have you read about the Ouroboros spread?" No! Never heard of it! I've strayed so far from the Celtic Cross for so long and just stuck to random three card draws. It seems I've lost some muscle in that area (the CC) and never explored other spreads. In my Idiot Guide to Tarot book it lists a spread that's basically a double CC. Is that the same as the Ouroboro one? Ya know, I'll just go google that now. hannaramaaAlso @andstuff, the 3rd card was Knight of Pentacles. hannaramaa quote:Originally posted by Love&Light:Hanna, i think the Lovers is for a choice she will have to make in this regard after she has moved away/back from this relationship. Do you use the third position as best outcome or do you use them differently? Because if it is the best outcome it's an altogether different velocity from that of 8 wands. Maybe (definitely only a maybe) it means that if your Querent and whoever she will meet play their cards right there is potential for a stable long-term connection, a lot of mutual care/support, Virgo-style. hannaramaa quote:Originally posted by andstuff:Ha, this is clashing a bit.
