dustib | so I'm thinking of sending a text to ML basically calling him out on his ghosting and telling him no more stringing along....that if he's interested great, put for the effort behind your words and if not, no worries since I'm doing my own thing. Is this a good idea and what will his reaction be? |
LostTaurus | LOL!! I can SOOO identify with your situation. His reaction? Surprised >> Shocked >> a little P*ssed >> Amused Do what you gotta do, sister. I don't think it will 'put him off' in any substantial way, so maybe it's the shake-up he needs. Unfortunately, I'm not getting anything on whether it will be just that shake-up or not... :/ |
dustib | What do you see if I don't and just keep no contact going? It's been a week since he disappeared this time |
LostTaurus | Honestly? More of the same. It almost feels like a game to him right now - "let's see who can sweat it out the longest". I could be wrong, but it's what I'm getting. That said, it doesn't feel like intentionally malicious energy. |
dustib | Exactly what I thought. Well I'm not going to send the text. I don't think he will ever change will he? |
LostTaurus | Still feels like a long process. His energy just feels very Virgo. Feels like he genuinely likes you, but Virgos are notorious for drawing it all out and insisting on being pursued as they make the decisions. It can be exasperating. |
dustib | I don't have time or patience for games anymore.. and that's what it feels like. I feel like if I pursue him, he disappears quicker and his ghosting routine after we meet up is old. He claims to be too busy for everything yet has time for the dating site. |

Stick to your guns sweetie. It doesn't feel like enough has developed on either side for it to represent a substantial loss. Take back your energy and share it with someone who is ready for it. |
dustib | It is a loss for me and I'm hurt but he would have to prove he's seriously not playing a game. I'm not sure that will happen with him. But I'm moving forward... he either catches up or not. Do you think he will? |

True to his form, I feel like it'll take much longer than you expect. But I do feel like he may randomly reach out at some point down the line. |
LostTaurus | ...it also feels like you'll have moved on by the time he does. :/ |
luckystar25 | Would you guys exchange with me? My cat has been missing now 3 weeks....I'm starting to think back and think something weird happened in my house while I wasn't here before he escaped or whatever happened to him...where is he? Am I wrong about something happening |

Hi lucky, This feels like reaching to me. I don't feel any significant event happened which facilitated his getting out. It feels much more like accidental inattention (i.e., someone left the door open too long or he snuck through someone's feet and got out) - no idea why, but I'm seeing armsful of grocery bags - Someone distracted by bringing in the groceries.
|
dustib | I can pull for you tonight Lucky...crazy day at work today. |

For what it's worth, I don't feel like he's in (or has been) harmed... (((HUG)))
