I am just a tad stressed with this whole situation and a bunch of other things. I am just putting a little trust in this system and was hoping people would help, so any advise would be great. I already understand the whole concept of "if you chase a man, he will run the other way".. I am probably one of the most logical people you'd meet, but it is something about this guy that I just can't put my finger on. He explained that he felt like things were very forced between us and that he didn't want to enter a relationship where I had some image of him and him not living up to that standard, which would cause me to resent him later. He said he wanted to stay friends because he considers me one of his closest friends and that I knew more about him than most of his long term friends. Basically, he friend zoned me. He said we could continue the same relationship we have now, but without the intimate side. The whole time we were talking all I could do was smile, nod and say "ok I understand" . I told him that I saw this coming, but I was hoping it wouldn't have happened and that we could have just worked things out. I didn't cry or beg or plead. I just kinda let it all happen. He texted the next day as if nothing was wrong. We continued with everything as if nothing occurred, all the while I was crying myself to sleep and in a **** ton of pain. We actually spoke about a few days ago in a very flirtatious manner (most of our conversations are like that.. we tease and have witty banter with each other). He did wish me a happy thanksgiving and we spoke for about an hour or so that weekend. He is charming, a great listener, very respectful, and is pretty good at giving advice. He is most DEF health conscious! Goes to the gym everyday and eats SUPER healthy.It's interesting to have read what you posted because as soon as I tell myself that I should start ignoring him and I having not heard from him in a while, he'll like something of mine on my FB page or he'll randomly text me. I don't understand him. It's like I sense he loves talking to me, but now he's keeping a distance? I just cant place it. It is as if he gets his fix of me and then just goes MIA again. All my conviction goes out the window. I guess my best bet is to start ignoring him?
