Archer just got back from the bars... can you picture him now? By the end of the night all he could focus on were eyebrows.Did you hear anything they said to you Archer? What did the eyebrows say to you? ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |

Omigod, do I have to go to sleep! Considering both of our beauty backgrounds, the eyebrows were saying to me, "PLUCK ME!" What is it with men and their unibrows...c'mon, it's just a tiny prick!!! (hee hee.... There's something to THAT statement too!!!!) I need to sleep now! Alcohol is the devil's brew!!! IP: Logged |

Well, maybe in some circles, but I have much thicker eyebrows ( THANKS< DAD! .)than I let on, so I don't know how much light that theory could shed.. I pretend to have sweeping, arching brows, and have been doing it so long, not much grows back, actually. Aww! The beauty of tweezers and wax! The shape of your brows can make or break your bone structure, and more people should get them professionally shaped. Not too much off, but a nice frame for the eyes. A little goes a long way!!!!IP: Logged |

Actually Archer.... I was being silly at first, in reality, I've always paid attention to people's eyebrows. Big time. And I do see a correlation between them and many things, from intelligence to assertiveness to dishonesty to compassion.I'd have to write a book about it cuz there's so much to say. But I'll start with a couple here and work my way through it little by little... My most FAVORITE eyebrows are those of Sagitarrius. It doesn't matter if they are male or female. That's one of the ways I can tell if someone is a Sag. The inner part closer to the nose usually grows up and is slightly highter than the arch. This is a sign of intelligence. Women with this usually don't pluck it away, and if they do, they shouldn't. If they are too thick, they can pluck a couple of hairs INSIDE the line to thin out just a tad. This area is usually more like a block shape as opposed to thin or growing sideways. Then they usually have a nice arch, and the rest extends a little beyond the outside of their eye. Sag eyebrows are usually shaped like the eyebrows that makeup artists tend to DRAW on their clients. Thought I didn't take you seriously at first, huh Archer... .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |

Virgos have very nice, roundly arched, lightly drawn, intelligent looking eyebrows. At least, that's my opinion! IP: Logged |

They say my eybrows shoot to my hairline when I`m surprised or dismayed. Which dismays me cuz I don`t keep them as neat & tidy as I should to complement my rather large green eyes. Arg, Shoulda put that on my N.Y`s resolution. juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Virgo's such as I, have nice etebrows till we get to the point in life where hair grows everywhere but on our head. Then our eyebrows get bushy, along with our ears and noses.Love Lanny IP: Logged |

Actually, Lanny, that sounds like your Cappie influence showing through. My sweet little Cappie's hair is quite thin and straight and my hair and my husband's hair is pretty thick and wavy.Sincerely, divinia ------------------ What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness? -- Jean-Jacques Rousseau IP: Logged |

It's true. The next prettiest eyebrows ARE Gemini's and most can get away without plucking too much. Look at Brooke Shields. The most famous eyebrows in the world ever. .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |

I'm a lucky gemini too...highly arched, thick but not unruly eyebrows...I only pluck out a few to thin out my line...I never knew it was typical gemini to have those kind of eyebrows lol. Although hubby is a cappy with gem rising...he's got a unibrow going--and extremely fine, straight hair on his head! Interesting... I hope that he doesn't loose his hair and start getting a bushy unibrow accompanied by ear and nose hair! Otherwise he's getting an electric trimmer for his birthday! lol Nackie IP: Logged |

I hate to tell you what the unibrow means in terms of genetics. Actually, I ain't gonna be the messenger. Anyone else know?Pixel: The fro is back, go with it. Let's see, the best product I used on clients in the past for softening curls was the serum by KMS. For straightening with blowdry is called Flat Out, by KMS. It was the least expensive and you didn't have to use too much, and they worked the best. And never brush wet hair with a brush. Always use a wide-tooth comb. .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |

Mine just kind of hang out there between my eyes and my forehead. I tried plucking them once many years ago when my mother told me all "ladies" should twease them into pencil thin lines with a perfect arch. I noticed immediately that pulling out eyebrows with tweasers was undoubtedly an ancient form of torture perpetuated through the ages by the undead spirit of the Marquis de Sade, afterwhich I decided to free my eyebrows from all social convention and allow them to live their own lives as they saw fit. (meaning I never tweased again) I'm just lucky they aren't unibrow or enormously large in their natural state, because, believe me, they are staying natural.IP: Logged |

fishkittenI've noticed that Scorpios tend to have prominant bone structure under their eyebrows. Even the women, who typically shape and style them quite nicely, still have a prominant brow bone. (or whatever it's called) Cancers sometimes have slight, gentle brows that are so light they almost are invisable, and Capricorn men often get quite bushy brows that are all over the place. Hey, those are opposite extremes, and the two signs are opposites in the zodiak. Neat! IP: Logged |

Leos have very pronounced browbones as well and slightly arched brows. They seem to extend pretty far too, but are not unruly at all.------------------ What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness? -- Jean-Jacques Rousseau IP: Logged |

still have a prominant brow bone. (or whatever it's called)The Supraorbital Torus Actually, that's further proof to me that the birthtime that we found for Jase is correct (giving him a Scorp Asc). I mean, he has quite a brow bone, ya?: Wow, he's lost weight since then (more than 20 pounds off in Basic...sooo skinny...). IP: Logged |

FishKitten:If you ever do consider shaping the brows, I have a couple of great tips to keep the pain down quite a bit. I do this myself: - ALWAYS pluck first thing when you wake up. Your nerve endings are very dull, and your skin is very soft, pores open. - Before you start, apply an allergy-free eyecream over the area you will clean up. I like Neutrogena Eye Moisture (don't confuse with the other two new ones they have). - And when you are done, reapply the eyecream. (I still ain't tellin' about the unibrows. Anyone else want to risk it?) .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |
