I fidgit trying desperately to close my eyes and sleep it refuses to come denied this is how insanity is born i think the ticking of the clock drifting in and out of my mind almost there never quite reachingSheets asunder on my bed frustration why? why oh god cant i sleep!? i know images racing through my mind speeding the mind on over drive burning through gears help! my hands tremble and i cannot stop it Why? What is keeping me up? what worry is upon me? please i fuss with your ring spining it 'round doesnt help... read a book watcha show play a game no dice... anything to sleep anything to dream craving for rest and relief but none comes Push ups pacing sit ups trying to get tired aint happenin' Straighten my fatigues polish my boots crazy this is absolutley crazy! i NEED to sleep! alarm... well theres no point now, have to get going empty drained foggy-eyed sunken exhausted but still.. i go on.. and on... and on... and on... and on IP: Logged |

like i said in the how do you feel thread... *consoles*thats a great verse scatbug. i can relate. years of persistant insomnia have drawn me to the conclusion that i just dont fit into this modern world very much heh. *shrugs* i just do my own thing now, as much as i can. that doesnt help, but i hope my consoling does. i try to either talk to someone, random chitter chatter helps a lot, the goofier the better other than that, i just try to get involved in something, whether it be tv, or a movie, the internet, whatever. usually i will get tired enough after awhile. something i use in REALLY trying frustrating circumstances is a sort of a creative visualization exercise. its in the universal codes forum, called 'your sacred place'. go there and see when you have your sacred place, you can go there whenever you are feeling stressed/frustrated/lost/alone/etc and its very soothing. i hope you are able to sleep soon! i really feel for you. ~faery ps if you want some random chitter chatter and scads of goofiness my aim is in my profile. im usually around and good for a larf. hehe IP: Logged |

Calcium magnesium tablets, at least six every night, cut out coffee and sugar all together including honey or sweet and low.Get rid of any late night calls or habits. Gotta work, if you are still not sleeping, get a checkup and have your blood checked for anemia. Take Care, Natasha IP: Logged |
