What natal aspects would indicate that someone has psychic abilites? Like being able to talk to the dead, being able to see the deceased and/or has a strong connection to the "other side"? IP: Logged |

8th house or/and 12th house stellium maybe? Mercury in one of these houses, or also in Scorpio/Pisces signs.. Maybe some Pluto aspects.. ^_^; but not sure lol..IP: Logged |

"talk to the dead" - Mercury rules communication and Scorpio rules death.. so I'm with Comica.. Strong connection to the other side, might be a Moon in Scorpio. *Seeing* the dead.. might be Mars in Scorpio or a Scorpio Asc.
Aries/Mars/1st is meant to rule the head and the eyes as far as I know. IP: Logged |

I have Mars in Cancer in 1st house and 12th house Moon, and I have pics of what look like ghosts or something weird in the pictures going on...------------------

The reason I ask is because I have been having dreams of deceased people coming to me, asking me for help to get to the other side. It's all very creepy but at the same time, very intriguing to me. I've always had a *fascination* with death/the other side/ghosts and spirits since I was a little girl and for some reason I think that I am capable of having the gift, it's just that I am not READY for it yet...kind of like it's not the right time you know? Everyone I know thinks I am crazy, my parents especially, when I tell them that I have weird symbolic dreams and it comes true. I also get prophetic dreams. I used to ber scared of my intuitions, I used to meditate a lot and the images that came to me scared the hell out of me that I stopped full force. I've been wanting to start up again ever since but at the same, time I dont really know if I am meant for it or if I am forcing to have such gift.... I have a scorpio moon, midheaven in pisces, mars in cancer in the 1st house...I could also post my chart if someone is interested in lookign at it.... IP: Logged |

I have had psychic type dreams for a long time.. and have seen and heard spirits.I have 8th house cancer with Sun and Mecury there, Neptune in the 1st house Sag, and Uranus in my 12th in Scorp. Uranus trines mercury. IP: Logged |

Want to compare charts? Yours sounds similar to mine. I also have Pisces Midheaven, but Moon in Cancer and I seem to attract ghosts' as well. I moved not to long ago from the apartment I was staying at in Tucson, and I was having some weird experiences there. There were a few times when it seemed I was half awake and half asleep at night, and it felt like something was pinning me down on the bed keeping me from moving or waking up. It was a creepy feeling almost like it was trying to take over me(I know it sounds strange, and your probably thinking 'nut job'). And then the time when I put a pair of pants on the back of the computer chair in the dining area for my boyfriend to wear for work(he was complaining about not having them)and when we went to bed, I had just barely drifted off to sleep when I heard a thump accompanied by a dragging sound across the floor. I thought it was nothing so I went back to sleep, the next day Mark keep asking me why I crumpled up his pants on the bathroom floor when I knew he was going to wear them for work. Whatever or whoever it was got a kick out of doing stupid crap like that.------------------

This subject was discussed rigorously in a string titled "Clairvoyance and Clairaudience". Knowflake Zapata had similar expereinces to you.Only asteroids can explain specific psychic powers. You may have these placements:
1) Asteroid ANUBIS (1912) aspected by Moon, Pluto or Neptune 2) Strongly aspected Asteroid PALLAS in the
9th House. 3) Neptune in 6th or Neptune aspected by an Asteroid of Death/Rebirth like SIVA (1170) or KAALI (4227) 4) Several asteroids in Pisces. Since my research of 2006, I have found the 8th house is overrated. It has to do with general death, death of the establishment, taxes, inheritance, legal systems, parochialism, cabals and ambitiously planned genocides. Not psychic powers. 9th house is more intuitive. 6th house is more sympathetic. 12th house also is involved but 6th more so than the 12th. If you can please post your chart details with date, time and place of birth, I can find the exact cause.

Libraschoice that's all so interesting....that experience you have with you feeling like you're being pinned down on your bed, it's very similar to what I experience frequently when I go to bed. I figure that it's just that phenomena when a person goes to sleep, your spirit naturally lifts up from their body and astrally travels. Have you seen yourself in a 3rd person point of view above the room as you were sleeping? It happens to me on occassion, and it really freaks me out. As for items being all over the place, I often put say, a cd or my brush on a certain place and when I turn around they're not there anymore! It turns up in completely different places and sometimes I end up not finding them at all for a couple of days. Whenever this happens, I always say out loud "Alright, enough, I'm in a hurry, where is my brush/cd/bag/(whatever Im lookin for)??".

I checked those asteroids you were talking about, in my chart Anubis and Hypnos are conjunct each other in the 4th house next to my Mercury?! With Siva conjunct Venus. Does that mean anything? My birth date is October 4,1977 Galesburg, Illinois 11:43pm------------------

Seveneieghtorange, stuff disappearing and reappearing happens alot to me. Like my favorite lipstick will be gone from the bathroom table and I'll look for it high and low. And then when I think I've lost it, there it is on the bathroom table again. And my dreams tend to be very vivid, to the point where when wake up I have to adjust for a second. Sometimes it seems I can touch and feel things in my dreams. I've asked people before in the past if I sleep walk to mabe explain my dreams.------------------

Thank you for the information lq!! That was very nice of you to look up my asteroids and placements. So Im really not crazy after all and there IS some kind of reason that I think I am capable of being "psychic".
Libraschoice, I also talk in my sleep. I used to sleepwalk but it stopped when I soon turned 9 years old. I want to start meditating again, because the last times that I did it, 3-4 years ago when I would , I would hear things (not necessarily voices, I am not sure, perhaps it is my intuitive voice speaking to me), see images that really disturbed me that I would immediately force myself to come out of my meditative state. I have a stellium (incl Mercury) in Scorpio - I swore off anything remotely related to attempts to contact the dead after a series of very freaky experiences between the ages of 9-16. I won't allow a seance or any attempts to open doors to other - whatever that is, in my home. I also have a kind of INS system (internal nav system). If I try to use my intellect to find my way I'll get lost (or more lost as the case may be lol), but if I just let go and go, I always find my way, whether it's through a dungeon in a video game or when traveling in an unfamiliar city. Someone once told me it was precognizance, but it only seems to relate directly to me knowing who's calling on the phone and finding my way on foot, in a car, or getting around in a 3D environment online. My mother (also a Scorp) has dreams that come true (not via symbolism, but literally dreams events precisely as they end up happening), but that seemed to skip me. IP: Logged |

Hey Iq.. Thanks!I deleted my post after re-reading the original. I do not see spirits or dream about them...I have noticed though, as I am now older, that I have feelings... good and bad about events or people that I can not and should not ignore... I used to shrug it off... but I don't do that anymore and found myself to be quite accurate in my perception of things to come... Dear Magician,
My sincere advise, take it as if it is from your elder brother: Do not resign your job right now. In 2-3 years you will have your Saturn Return, and only after you clear that difficult period should you take such an important decision.
The spiritual path of the man wealthy from honest and ethical hard work is filled with
more rewards than the hermit who becomes a burden either to others or to Nature (consuming without giving back.)1/10th of your salary given every month to genuine relief organizations or to genuinely hard working needy (like the farmers in Maharshtra who may commit suicide for want of 3000 rupees needed to plough their fields using rented tractors) helps more than months of penance. If work stress diverts your from the spiritual path, there are better solutions for that. Yes, the present job may not help the long term life purpose but the good deeds will help you find the satisfying career that also gives enough time for spiritual evolution. IQhunk, your on the dot with what you said! For some reason it wasn't really there when I was a child(the paranormal activity)but it seem the older I get the stronger this 'type' of energy is around me. And it is only enhanced by certain other people, being with my current guy a Scorpio(with aspect Mars conjunct Pluto in 8th house)it makes it more prominent. We tease each other all the time "the ghosts are around because of YOU". lol! I've never been able to talk about it with anyone for fear they would think I am a raving nut, but here at Lindaland is a comfortable place for me to discuss it.------------------
