Hi Ami (and any others!) I'm a total newbie to starting threads (the nickname in my profile box is sooo true!)- hope this is alright. I am going through a process of change (good thing!) and assessing my direction in life. I would like to move to Spain late this year, the goal to gain language fluency and have a new experience. BUT, I'm still unsure about my work direction and know I need to have a plan before I go (IF I do...). Those are my main concerns, although anything that you feel is worth mentioning, I'm all ears!

Just a to fill in the pic some more: I've spent a lot of time trying to 'fix' and help others over the past 2 yrs, which I happily do, but have neglected focusing time and effort in myself. I started to address that by dramatically changing my eating to something far healthier and consistent and through exercise, have gained some confidence back. Now I'm really ready to go for things, but I can be indecisive and maybe put too much pressure on 'getting it right' rather than make mistakes. I'm trying to enjoy the journey more, so to speak, but still- I do have decisions to make for the next step... IP: Logged |

You have a very powerful presence although you are considerate and courteous and don't walk all over people.
Finances and basic material exigencies are important to you. You value practical things, although you may have had instability in finances, as a child.

Funny you mention the presence- when I am in the company of strangers, some will gel very easily with me but there are others that seem wary until they we get to speak more! Let me see where I can find this. At some point, we should do your asteroids. if you have a lot of pain and/or trauma, the asteroids show it.

yep, just as I thought your Saturn has a lot of red lines. That makes it hard. Lets work on your Saturn for a while. I will put up an article and you can start to think about Saturn------------------

I am going to write one on how Saturn is VERY hard on himself. I have it very stongly, too, so I understand. Our reading will take a long time. We will go step by step!------------------

Saturn in the Signs

Saturn in the First House

Each planet has an energy. All life, every single substance, is made up of energy, even a rock. Each planet has a specific energy. With Saturn, it is restriction. Saturn is like a stern father. He makes you work for every penny. At the end, you may have a substantial allowance, but you will have broken your back for it,or close to it. With this in mind, I will try to apply Saturn to the first house. The first house is our exterior self, the mask we wear in to the world. However, it is a mask which is glued on. It is not a “fake” self. It is our outer self, the self one would meet if one saw us on a job interview. It is our cocktail party self. It is not our deep friend or lover self. With this in mind, Saturn in the first house may make us appear serious and overly responsible. Actually, we ARE serious about life. We are serious about our responsibilities. If you ask this Saturn to do a task, he will. He will work at it until it is done, and done well.If not, he will feel guilty. This Saturn has a lot of guilt. He wants to be perfect, not to impress others, as much as to feel as if he is acceptable, finally. It is an inferiority complex Saturn.It must struggle, mightily, to gain an ounce of confidence, which comes so easily to others, such as someone with Jupiter or the Sun in the first house.------------------
